American's First Time Reacting to "Al Murray VS Americans" 

Al Murray went to Oxford University and got a degree in History.

His character here is the "Pub Landlord"... hence why he has a bar. He is worth watching. I have seen him live a few times and the way he uses his audience is very funny. He is a historian and very well educated. His character, the Pub Landlord, is a parody of those stereotype landlords who always have an opinion about most things; perhaps there are fewer of them around these days.

He's a very clever, intelligent, funny man. 🙌

It should be "The Pub Landlord vs Americans". Al Murray is the comedian but he's usually playing a character called, The Pub Landlord, as he is here. In real life, Al's a thoughtful, witty, highly intelligent man, with a history degree from Oxford University. In contrast, the Pub Landlord is old fashioned, has many barely concealed prejudices, is highly opinionated, conservative and over-the-top patriotic. The Pub Landlord will constantly be putting down other nations and liberal ideas but he does it in such a manner that he unwittingly ends up taking the mickey out of his own belief in British superiority and his conservative viewpoint. He's not a total parody, he usually makes some really good points along the way, so it ends up more balanced than you'd expect. Just remember that the biggest joke is, quite deliberately, him. :)

Love your videos, such enthusiasm 👍🏻 Al Murray is also a co-founder of The British Drum Company. He’s also a great guy, a friend of mine sat next to him in a flight and couldn’t praise him enough, his stage character is clever. Check out his sound effects from his early career, a great talent.

He has a TV series called "Time Gentlemen Please". Might be worth the watch for context of his character.

5:00 He talks to Steve, who he already spoke to earlier and found out he was a musician, so asks him the chords of God Save The Queen....99% of Americans don't get that. 5:58 Doesn't matter who comes first when you're on your own, i think you missed that joke.

He's a very funny, smart & quick. That's probably why you missed many of his lines, you didn't understand of were not quick enough to comprehend.........

Check out how bacon proves the existence of God...Al's best monologue in my opinion. His character pretends to own a pub, that's why he has the beer pumps. Pub landlords are known for having an opinion on everything and telling all the customers about it.

you did not need to use copyright just as long you stop the video in seconds and have a monologue, we do have earthquakes we had a big one 14 years ago our house shook not knew what it was but we do have them but not noticed on above the land but it is below and yes we had a few tornados
