I had an exchange Canada / france when I was in High school, i invited my correspondant from Vancouver to a football match in the RC LENS stadium in france, the guy will never forget what he saw hahaha
Americans have cheerleaders. Everywhere else, the crowd ARE the cheerleaders. They’re in unison because they are the rhythm, they know the chants. They create the chants in unison and their chants are indicative of the club/team. They’ll sing them for years.
Why are they still jumping? 1. The stadiums over here are made for jumping. 2. People are drunk and don't give af. 3. European fans would litarly die for their clubs.
Wanna see the Dutch (8:00) go really 'nuts' before a football match look for oranjemars. Most of the time in other countries (except during covid and when it was in Qatar)
This is what you get when you have passion and pride. In these situations your literally ready to go to war for your team. 😂 can't wait for the Americans to actually join the football world amd have to live this
You have to watch and enjoy the Netherland fans cheering their team in front of and in the stadium just during the EM 2024 🤣 or the scottish football fans or all the others!!!
As an American who has been across the pond a couple times, I was shaking my head when you were hyping up the Americans 😂 Bro we aint got NOTHIN on them as far as football fans go! I was in Slovenia for a little bit and the opposing team had to be escorted to the game by armored and mounted police, so they and the locals wouldnt get into a brawl. That club wasnt even that good and THIS was the base expectation?? Never in America would that happen LOL
It is hard to describe… it’s an overwhelming atmosphere… you are one of such a huge crowd of ppl and you feel this spirit.. ❤❤ it’s incredible… on the other hand there are also some among them they just looking for someone to make stress… it summarise my experiences…
Me reading European: It's ok, you can just say German, we know and embrace that we are the crazy people here. It's part of the culture at this point. Also for being surprised about the outside the stadium part: That's where half the show happens. Any establishment that sells beer in close proximity to a stadium in Germany will make more money before and after a game than any other time of the year lol.
I personally am a fan of two teams. Austria Wien and Sturm Graz. Honest to god I’m crazy for both of them!!! When there is a match between the two I just don’t go to the match. Cause I really don’t wanna sea any of them lose 😅😂
Brother, Europe is fine, but South American fans are something way different. Every match is a party to support your team. And our chants are very clever as well. Greatings from an argentinian who supports San Lorenzo de Almagro!
