I have an Americam Staff named Chevy. He has the worst background I have ever heard, he was abandoned for months on concrete no food, no water. The only thing now you can see from his past today is his scars. When i heard his story i know i had to make him part of my life. The first time i hugged him he licked me. And to this day he has been the best dog ever i devote my heart to him as he devotes his heart to me. And he saved my life as i did the same.❤️

My AmStaff was a Sierra. His dad, (Lil Masked Raider) was living in New Mexico at the time. I was in Quantico Va. The day he landed at the airport in DC was the best day of my life. I had an incredible 17yrs with that beast. Absolutely spoiled. Miss him every day.

I've never been a big fan of the Amstaf breed but this lady here is full of passion for the breed and her line is beautiful, I must say.

I miss my boy Rumble who passed a few years ago. I still get teared up thinking about his last day! Such a loyal breed. They live to please there master!!

I love her amstaffs. I feel like my staff is just right. Great built, muscle tone just right, head slightly small(I think) and will stay on the move as long as I'm moving. 2hour walks daily and soon will be adding some jogs and runs.

As a owner of 2 amstaffs I'm loving this video and what she has to say. Love her dogs and what I love most about amstaffs is their function. I flirt pole my dogs and man can they move. I've owned other bull breeds but none as agile and speed with grace. Awesome dogs and good protectors aswell

0:45 I don't know. That dog looks like an AmBully more than an AmStaff. I think she is pushing the standard a bit too much. But anyway, it was my understanding that the AmStaff was made more for conformation than the things she discussed at 0:55. Actually, it is said that the AmStaff came about as an attempt to distance the dogs from the bull baiting and other controversial uses of the AmPit Bull. So the AmStaff made its living more as a show/conformation dog.

My staffy is 76lbs. Strong without real workouts. Dtill athletic at 7 yrs old. Hes my big baby. And what shes saying is agreeable. My boy is perfect for function. Pulls me up when needing up hills or stairs. Hes just perfect

Oh, I have been thinking of a staffy or a amstaff for over a year now for my 3 y/o beauche as a buddy!!! My friend has a amstaff and the personality in the dog is on point!!! love the breed!!! What I love about pitbulls is that they are so smart and loyal, and that makes them really easy to train!!! well, the beauche was not easy, now he is starting to understand me but with my friends amstaff, shes 9 months old and she is just incredible!!! In love with the breed eventho I havent got one😂😂

I agree with her I grew up with the American pitbull as a kid I understood their structure and their ability and their loyalty but I also was part of The Bully movement I separated myself and started creating My Own Line trying to keep the American pitbull alive and through that I got e Terrier even though my bloodline was bullied out when you shoot for something you get in now I'm going backwards going towards the past and correcting the flaws all these dogs turn out to be circus dogs dogs that you can take out purimuch a bubble dog. Your breed standard Is Truly THE STANDARD in my opinion and what the breed should look like to accommodate Function and Form along with Personality and Temperament. Not too large and not too small with some individuals landing on the outer rim of the spectrum that always only help to improve the lines. A species always needs a bit of variety that doesn't meet the standard in order to maintain its health and integrity over all. It is reassuring to see that there are breeders such as yourself that still exist in today's AKC regimented world.

By far, the Sierra, Nevada and Greyline has by far pushed my dog breedings for my American Bullies still keep that Amstaff look but with more Bully size but not over done.

So true. The American Bully is everything that people have done to reduce the health issues of the British Bulldog by breeding the American Bulldog and the Aussie Bulldog.

I 1000% agree with her view of Amstaffs along with American Bullies! Her dogs aren't overdone at all! Form must follow function and as long as your dogs haven't lost their functionality through their form then great. He stayed true to the heritage of the pit with it's imposing look, strong features (hinds, jaws, neck) with losing the agility, and stamina the breed is known for! Outside of King Kamali, WS Monster (littermate brother Big Boy also) & maybe two others I'm not a fan of American Bullies! Too sloppy, too out of shape, NO function, too much mastiff/bulldog inner mixing, hanging of papers etc

If you really are looking for function with these dogs, look no further than the game bred American Pit Bull Terrier. American Staffordshire Terriers are great but the game dogs are the real deal. Am Staffs(as many of you may know) branched off from the APBT back when the AKC first recognized these dogs. The APBT aren't for everyone and will behave totally different than the Am Staff. I think these are gorgeous dogs and I know they still have some function, albeit not the original function they were meant for.

American pitbull terrier weighs 35 to 75 pounds and the American Staffordshire Terrier weighs 55 to 95 pounds and I agree it should be the powerfullest dog of any breed ever been created

Seeing her dogs I can see where breeders used the amstaff as the foundation for the American bully, especially the more conventional and workable Gotti and razor’s edge dogs.

Well spoken, straight shooting woman who stands by her brand; whether you agree with her or not - can't fault her for that. Her Amstaffs are a little on the heavy side, but I wouldn't say extreme. They still look functional. I wonder what AmStaff foundations her dogs came from: Tacoma, Ruffian, Crusader, California...? And what the Sierra dog's temperament is like...anyone here know ?
