The way your daughter's are around these power breeds, speaks volumes! I just love how naturally they stroll around, complete confidence, you are doing good things!❤

It's simply a marker. It reinforces whatever you're trying to teach. The dog associates the sound with a behavior that you're trying to teach the dog. The clicker means okay good behavior yes I want that. You can even use your tongue as a clicker and make the same sound or just say "Yes."
I don't use clickers I simply say yes to Mark the behavior that I want but some people use clickers just because it's an easy consistent sound. Stonnie Dennis another trainer just clicks his tongue instead of using a clicker
When you have two dogs, a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old, do you keep the older dog in the house and train the 1-year-old and then bring the other one out?
