As soon as I saw the yum yums come out I knew this episode was gonna be soo good! Imagine back in the day they used to sell 8 for £1.50! Used to be Diabetes in a plastic tray!
Definitely a reason why they're called Yumyums. I fucking love the things 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 unreal. When I get them I feel like I wanna enjoy them and eat them slowly but they're literally gone in seconds every time! But so worth it!
Thanks for sharing your food journey in the UK Ben. Thoroughly enjoyed it bro. If you ever come back I would defo recommend you check out some scottish food, especially their bakeries. Also would love to see you take a Caribbean trip and check out some of their amazing cuisine.
Lilt is one of my favourite drinks and the zero sugar is still one of my top drinks of all time. It is still going strong! It has been rebranded though to Fanta Pineapple & Grapefruit, so if you have a hankering for Lilt look out for that Fanta Pineapple & Grapefruit.
Was just about to comment this! You’ll only really find them in off licenses. Be sure to get Lilt in a can because its a million times better in a can. However the zero sugar version is BOGUS, usually it tastes similar to the original but its like a completely different drink.
As a Brit I didn't really know about complicated American sandwiches until subways started opening here. My whole life a sandwich was bread + butter/margarine + one thing. Jam, ham, egg, whatever but one thing. This modern idea of lettuce, contiment, tomato, pickles, two kinds of meet etc etc, thats a very recent import over here.
Your comment reminded me of when I first arrived in the US in 1965,I had only ever eaten single item sandwiches, and I had a bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich for the first time with mayonnaise,I was,and still am crazy for them.I never put butter on sandwiches, unless eating banana sandwiches, and we never eat chip,or crisp sandwiches here.
The plain sandwiches is a great point because in America the put so much different stuff and large quantities that imo takes away from each individual flavour
Not better than a doughnut, no way ! Especially doughnuts made in America. Try HP fruity sauce. I think it’s a mixture of ketchup and brown sauce. It’s definitely a savoury sauce. Try a Gregg’s hot sausage roll, but it must be hot. 650 Calories, for the two are you kidding. That’s bad. Sickly, too much sugar. But I would of eaten the rest of your order..👍♥👍
@@Mona-.-Yeah Fanta Grapfruit and Pineapple is the exact same thing, it just changed to that from Lilt. Happened in February. They got bought out by Coca cola (Fanta), They probably did it to boost sales because its under the Fanta name now
Coca cola never bought Lilt, they created the Lilt brand. They just discontinued the brand and put it into their Fanta line up since that made more sense.@@TyrantSong
ketchup with sausage, brown sauce with bacon is like a unspoken rule in my household lol and the bacon always over rules the sausage so if you get bacon and sausage its brown again! 😀
after watching this series im glad he finally got to try a yum yum.. kinda sad he didnt get to try the christmas muffins they no longer do cause they were amazing... bro needs to try a marstons next people have literally travelled the world to try a marstons chicken and chips
English bacon is not 100% belly fat pork. its the loin with a bit of the belly on the end - made into one slice. kinda the best of both worlds for a lot of situations but pure belly pork bacon, streaky bacon is fire and better for layering burgers.
Yum yums are like "cronuts." It's a doughy folded and layered pastry rather than a batter like a doughnut. Once in Yorkshire I got sold one that was just a long doughnut, so disappointed.
Who is telling you a yum yum is a different shaped donut? They have never eaten a yum yum or at least were very distracted and didnt pause to appreciate it. M&S do something called a Yummut which is essentially a donut but with the texture of a yum yum, they are very good.
Greggs is made for and championed by the working class in Britain. Builders on their way to work dont want or need a fancy breakfast sandwich. Quick, simple, cheap and tasty is all we want. Greggs provides that.
Thats just a simple bacon butty. They are normally pretty mean with butter at all places, I normally add extra. I think they tend to leave off salt and be mean on butter so they can keep the bad nutritional values down , so it looks healthier
To me the yum yum looks like either a big version of little Debbie doughnut sticks or fried doughnuts with glaze.. but if ever get a chance I would try.. great vid 👍
