I seen a pete today similar to this but different color while I was driving, not sure if it was the 389 but I heard a diesel and thought it was a pickup but then he passed me and did that thing sound awesome and he wound up the RPMs. Great vid like always Jeff.
Mid America Truck Show is in Louisville, Ky. We loved it! I would suggest going next year. Tickets are free if you pre register. Next year I think I will go two days since I live 100 miles away instead of doing it all in one day. It's awesome to see for sure.
hey Jeff love the videos I'm a truck driver and I'm hearing you're having issues with your shifting now I haven't played this simulator but if it's true to actual trucking then it sounds like you're using the splitter wrong example if you shift into 5lo you have to split to 5hi then from 5hi in oder for a smooth shift you have to shift to 6lo then so on and so forth. if you shift this way then you might not have to rev so hi for a smooth shift "Hammer Down brother"!!!
I installed that sound replacement pack and after that I've never heard that grinding noise, even after purposely trying to. Try that if you haven't already, it gets rid of that sound and adds nicer sounds to that AI pack you have.
Nice to comeback to see how far scs has come.. only two states from that video to like what 9 or 10 states? And a graphics overhaul? It’s insane. And i got to watch it happen through your videos and my own 900 plus hours of gameplay. It’s crazy tbh.
Jeff, you should check out the Volvo rig on the steam workshop and maybe test it out in a video? That would be awesome to see. Great video as always man!
The reason the tipper trailer didn't turn is because you didn't give it enough time to start pivoting. It generally takes a full revolution of the trailer tires before it actually starts to turn or move in any other direction.
Hey Jeff I hope your having a blast in NY awesome vid man I'm loving the Peterbilt the 389 has always been my favorite and a kickass truck for Optimus Prime thanks for your vids they're a real pick me up Happy Friday to you as well Jeff
at the end when you mention how truck driver feel about these situations. well that happens all the damn time. we do cuss up a storm. in some cases we have other drivers help us get it in but blind siding it especially at night is a pain in the ass. some of these places questions why the hell do you build a place that makes it difficult for trucks to get in and out of. at truck stops, most of them were only made for smaller trucks. we never had 53' ft trailers until maybe 20 years ago or so? im not sure the exact time but also a cool trick that i do which is common sense is looking at google maps of the destination and routes and visualize the game plan before actually arriving and figure out how to drop and hook. sometimes we take chances. The only trucks who cant manage these skills are SWIFT. watch out for those guys on the road.
I couldn't help but laugh at you trying to park the trailer Jeff. I always back it in off the street in that pain in the arse spot they want it at. I enjoy watching your videos and keep'em coming my man!
Hey Jeff wanted to ask why don't you map out your GPS route after you pick up your load? The default map GPS route isn't always the best or fastest and you can also pick up allot of roads you haven't traveled yet.
Bet you where talking last week at mats (mid american truck show) in Louisville ky. God I so wanted to go again didn't make it next year I swear. next month east coast truck show in Kenny nc so planning on it.
While I do love your ATS videos sometimes I can't watch the very end because you tend to make backing up a lot more difficult than it needs to be. I couldn't see very well on this episode exactly what you where trying to do because it was too dark on my screen. There's been other episodes where I'm just like what the heck is he doing?
Another RU-vidr, First Thirty Minutes, plays a lot of LSPDFR and he said in one his livestreams that he might want to do a multiplayer patrol with you guys at code zero. I didn't if you were interested in that but I was just letting you know.
If you want to make it more Realistic you are supposed to do a Post-trip Inspection and per-trip inspection before and after sleep , Just saying , Have a Great day!
Hey Jeff, what do you think it would take for ATS to get some kind of replay/capture system like GTA V/iRacing/X-Plane? It would make for awesome videos and beautiful cinematic shots. The cinematic cameras in ATS now end up making you drive...."all ovah da woad".
It would have went in no problem but the setup was off by quite a bit. Too far out towards the garage. I know that you know what you are doing but just thought I would also add that it's best to get as close at least about 3 or 4 feet from the other trailers then that would have created a ton of room on your right. But you know that so I'm just talking man. I love your videos man. I forgot to mention that I was talking about when you first pulled in and wanted to turn around lol just in case someone got confused.
Great episode Jeff, keep up the amazing work, and early congrats bc ur sooo close to 300k subscribers :), hope u start making 3 videos of ATS a week :)
if I can't hit spot for some reason ask them for another but (and not trying to sound cocky) very few places I get you can't get in and out of new England is the worst as when them roads made they never expected trucks and trailers to get this big they had horse and buggy.
I think you mentioned it in last video but I missed it, and I looked through your mod list but didn't see it(sorry if I missed it). Looking for the improved reverse lights mod. Thanks in advance.
Also found the improved Weight Station Notification mod, not sure if you've seen it yet. atsmods.lt/weight-station-notification/ Credits : (Basic File) : SCS Software (Edited) : therealone (Requested by) : Jeff Favignano
