Fun Fact Jeff: the cargo you are hauling is modeled after a Caterpillar 627K Wheel tractor-Scraper. However the way its on the trailer is backwards, usually the front of the machine should be facing towards the truck, not the rear.
Jeff puts the new cat engine in and in his best Clarkson impression screams, "POWAH!!!". I don't miss fatigue simulation but I agree it's more realistic with it on. Up to you if you want it on or not.
Jeff. I really love your content. Your role play is always spot on. You never even consider messing around in any form of creating. You always go 110% to try and go full realism. I been watching your channel since around 70k subs and it's grown so far over the years. You have not just achieved that you also got to buy yourself a new truck. Just wanna say really proud of you dude. I enjoy the trucking series for obvious reasons and love that you try so hard on itnv when you do move to Florida maybe on one of my trips thru the area I can buy ya dinner. I pretty much run from Atlanta to Florida with little deviation so maybe you can do a meet up. Be good Jeff just wanted to say your doing great. Don't do fatigue simulation. I like the realism of it but I only watch on my phone and it becomes hard to see even on DOJ it gets difficult but in the end if you like it you do it. It's your channel partner. Be good Jeff. Oh and 90k lbs is gonna drag down any truck
Nigel RU-vid Channel only in your mind. I just think he is a great content creator and it would be cool to shoot the shit with him. Not sick and twisted
I would like to see some fatigue simulation jeff. And i also want to say how ATS is my favorite thing to watch on your channel. Keep up the good work my man 😃
29:19 Man, sorry that happened to you Jeff. A 1930's Autocar would have pulled that load up a grade in low like that IRL let alone a beast of a 389 you got there unless the clutch was fried. Happened to me a few times on ramps like that once with just a load of pallets! I hope that's patched now, hasn't happened lately.
Jeff this video made me want to drop my current load and get the same load as you did and its destination was ironically Barstow and I had the same drop you did. But I made my drop with the first try, all I did was swing WIDE to the left and pulled up as far as I could, then I swung sharp right and lifted up my axle and pulled right on in. LOL, Love the video jeff.
I really hope that the developers, or by mod, add in an oversized escort service to the trucks. They would maybe block traffic and keep the dumb s*** AI from parking a foot away from your truck while you're trying to make a turn or go around a bend. PS: Love you content, keep it up. Love, respect, support.
lol @ the guy that says buy a big rig and drive for real... haha... with that logic, he should have become a nascar driver, a police officer, a car mechanic and airline pilot...that's a lot of careers Jeff! XD
Nice truck my parents are moving to Tennessee or Missouri in the next year or 2 and for me its going to be very hard for me to adjust to when they do cause I'm going to continue living in Chicago cause I have my job and my gf which my gf and I are coming up on being together a year a week from this Sunday on the 22nd and I wanted to say thank for ur support and love the content and the live streams on your other channel makes me laugh when I've had a rough day have a good weekend man, take care
Man watching this makes me excited to play on a laptop that’s not like 8 years old cause playing at like 10-20 FPS on low settings just isn’t the same but at least I’ve got a wheel
A few ATS videos ago you said you were considering getting back to ETS2 once in a while, still thinking about it? A change of scenery and truck would be nice from time to time :)
I have been playing ATS for about a month now and I love it. Even having to play it on the lowest graphics settings and using a keyboard and mouse. I would love to be able to play this with the wheel and pedals and the shifter. I hate using the automatic transmission.
In Game Settings Put transmission type to sequential and they go to the assign key buttons and assign the shift up to right shift button on key board and shift down to left shift on key board.. That's how I play and it's more realistic..
Ive just recently found out about ATS and ETS on these games do you have to fill out logs and hit scales? I drive truck for my profession everything else about this game seems pretty legit digging that cobra 29LTD chrome LCD CB i got one in mine good radio ilr
@@JohnnyCadillac1994 i say it prob does logs but is like a elog i play a trucking game and it will do the logs by its self and everything is like real life on the one i plays
I don't use the fatigue simulator since the time is sped so much. But I do sleep to get thru the darkest hours. Much like you do. Just too hard to see. With some better headlights I would do more night. On your lagging, it depends on reflection and shadow are real killers in cities. Good show Mr. Favignano.
I think the guy that made that comment you mentioned, in fact doesnt like you doing this series! btw another great haul keep it up. I personally think the problem you had wasn't engine at all, but how the game views the clutch. it should engage smoothly not all at once.. when you get a little bit of drag you should be able to release the break and then smoothly continue to let out the clutch, as you add trottle. But you can't do that in this game very well.
Ok so I was a little off on the weight. So when it counts the load it is just the load. The weight of the trailer is not counted in for it so that would put roughly your empty weight at like 45k lbs with that trailer and to be honest Jeff that is pretty much 99% accurate for that setup depending but ya
Every place that you said your planing to move to in Florida is right next to me! Hope you love to my neighborhood. It likely won’t happen but it’s out of Orlando and some houses are for sale
