The Tele with the floyd and hybrid humbuckers is smoking hot. I don't typically reach for tele's when I visit the guitar shop, but that one I definitely would. Edit: THIS MOTHER'S GOT STAINLESS STEEL FRETS. YES FENDER YES.

Have an American Delixe Strat I bought new- love it. I played one of these Luxe teles and they are superb. The stainless steel frets, the new gen noiseless pickups- everything about it is 100%

just get a guitar from a company that's better value? they're becoming a gibson, who basically only makes high end guitars, and that's fine. people just need to stop thinking about fender as a "working man's brand" and start thinking about them as a luxury item

As much as I think these guitars look and sound nice I can't get over the fact that it took this long and this much money to make a fender guitar with stainless steel frets when there's tons of other great guitars that have them that are much cheaper.

100% the only thing that makes me hesitate. I'm honestly surprised anyone likes it. If they offered a natural headstock, I'd put an order in, but this is too expensive to not wonder if I'd hate it every time I looked at it. The standard ultraburst looks better, imo.

I totally agree! If the sunburst had a natural maple headstock, I’d probably get one. I’m leaning towards the Made in USA 75th Anniversary instead because of this, although Stainless Frets and those strat like body carves are hard to pass up! I suppose if the painted headstock really drives you crazy, prob not too difficult to sand it down and refinish with some glossy lacquer?

Does the hh telecaster pickups sound like your tipical single coil telecaster pickups when split or do they sound a bit different? It was hard to work out from the video but if they do sound like normal tele pick ups, then this is an all round good guitar for tele lovers that wanna taste of something like a les paul with a traditional telecaster all in one 😜😎

Any advice here on whether I should get this ultra luxe 2-tone sunburst or the regular ultra in texas tea? My worries are that this one might sound too bright (ash body + Stainless steel frets + maple neck) whereas the regular ultra uses nickel, rosewoord and alder. Also that the texas tea might hold value better because more people prefer the colours?

...are they noiseless pups? come on!!! i had a deluxe from 2008 and stripped the electronics for lollar's added new pots: ...all i'm saying is at that price point should have the option to go for "passive" "standard" pups. the noiseless sound shite. they have a weird midrange and compression in a transient that shouldn't exist in any pup(imho). thankkkksssssss
