India is a vegetarians' paradise.Seen many hardcore non-vegetarians, eating only veg food in India as they say they can't find such a vast variety of delicious veg food elsewhere. Loved to see your family ate with hands. I know somebody who is a Canadian of Nicaragua origin. They told me that people from many Spanish speaking countries in Central or South America, eat by hands. Its 11:15 PM in Canada and I am starving while watching your video😅. Keep enjoying. Have a wonderful stay in India.😊
Some of these benefits of eating food with hands are: Improves Blood Circulation. ... Stimulates Digestion. ... Prevents Overeating. ... Lowers Blood Sugar Levels. ... Boosts Immunity. ... The Art of Eating with Hands. ... Mindful Eating and Connection. ... Hygiene and Food Safety.
We are using our right hands to eat aside from my daughter who is left handed. The camera is inverted as it is in selfie mode you can tell by my watch as it is on my left hand. Figured I'd clear this up before any messages about it 😂
It doesn't matter which hand you eat with, I eat with my left like a lot of Indians. you don't have to 'clear it up' because only a certain set of orthodox hindus believe in this 'eat Indian food with right hand stuff!!
As your family and you are based in Pune, there are some lovely places to visit near Pune, especially during monsoons and winters. They are Lonavla, Khandala , Mahabaleshwar, Dudhsagar Falls, Matheran Hill station, etc. Take them, I am certain, you guys will enjoy these places, as a weekend outing and just a single day overnight stay. 😊
@@AmericansinIndia also visit panchgani, lavasa, and numerous waterfalls around Pune during monsoons. Kindly research a bit before visiting all the mentioned places. For Matheran Hill station, there is even a toy train up to it from Nerul. Though slow, it's a very scenic ride.
It really doesn't matter nowadays. Actually the rule is made because people use their left hand to clean after toilet, so back in time when there was not much disinfecting products like soap etc were there, the people were advised to eat with right hand.
Try to make your kids learn more about Indian traditional culture. Festivals. India has a very rich and ancient culture. India is so vast. Many things to know as the place changes. It will help your kids knowledge.. Thanks👍
Great video. When you are in doubt what to order in india, always go for Daal tadka, Daal Makhni, paneer gravy, chole gravy (chickpea), or any potato dish. It is very rare that an Indian chef would mess these dishes up. There is a huge list of parantha in India, paneer paratha is one of them. Keep exploring ❤
I was very worried when i heard they say that they don't know what to order but was relieved when i heard kaju masala you cant go wrong with kaju masala for sure.
In Pune, you could well try out some local Street Food ---- viz. DABELI (Bun with mashed Potatoes filling), VADA POV (Bun stuffed with patty made from Potatoes and other spices, POHA (dish made from beaten rice), forgetting on name of a place known for its Sizzlers (please check with some local)....... DO NOT FORGET TO TRY OUT THE BEST VARIETY OF INDIAN MANGO NAMED "ALPHONSO or RATNAGIRI MANGO or also called as HAFUS". Am sure you will be thrilled to try it out. The season is at its peak,. Best to try out before they vanish from market.
Hey Folks _ Hi !!!! Have watched some of your vlogs. Gather you folks are in Pune, Maharashtra in India. KAJU MASALA --- Dish prepared from CASHEW (Dry Fruit) in thick gravy made up of Indian Spices. PANEER MASALA ---- Dish prepared from INDIAN COTTAGE CHEESE in gravy and typical Indian spices. Guess you ordered for Paneer Parantha or Bread prepared from Indian Cottage Cheese. You could well have ordered half the number with Paneer Parantha and the remainder half with the Indian Bread prepared with a mix of Potatoes and Onion. Anyways guess you had fun trying out Indian Vegetarian dishes..... All the best to your stay in Pune, India and venture into Indian Savoury Food. Paddy
Hey guys, you can ask for a spoon, knife and fork and eat properly. And also you can use both your hands...don't worry, we Indians eat whatever we are comfortable with.
Awesome that combo paratha and panner..also i heard from my friend who lives in Pune you get some South indian Veg and non veg authentic as well traditional like the Malabar curry from Kerala and Chettinad Biryani from Tamil Nadu all some South Indian delicious food..at the Banana Leaf Pune..you guys can try.
What I find funny is the food is coming faster than it's being finished, you can actually ask waiter to bring food with some delay so food is brought as last one is finished.
Such a lovely family. And I can tell those kids are a really enjoying the food. And that shiny clean plates in the end says rest of the story 😅. Why do I have a feeling like your family is half north american half south american.
While ordering Roti, Naan, Kulcha or Paratha you should try single piece for everyone at a time. It tend to be harder to chew after few minutes and it tastes nice while they are very fresh. All the best wishes to the family..!
Use Whatever Hand you want Just Wash them Nicely and you are Ready to go.. But Majority Prefer Right Hand that's it because of Majority people are Right Handed..
ah yah, good stuff, you can check out the largest office building in the world (I think its near). Cant go wrong with with nDn food. Amazing, everyone enjoyed it.
@@AmericansinIndia Whoops that's in a different state (Gujarat), called the Surat Bourse Building or something. Anyways, you can check out the cool stepwells, and the Ajanta caves.
Dear brother don’t order that much roti at a time because usually in hot roti good order 1st few only then repeat the same before finish they will give before finish your roti that’s better ( if the roti getting cooldown it’s same like rubber ) thank you
Indian paneer dishes are good most of the time 😋 Paneer & Soya chaap is the vegetarian's fav replacement for meat. You can order dishes with *Kofta* name in it too....like Paneer kofta, malai kofta etc. Its comparatively sweet & Creamy dish. For breads, do try Masala Kulcha, Rumali roti etc.. Romali roti & Tawa roti are light weight & more healthy. Indian vegetarian food is no less than any of our non veg dishes 😅
Guys one thing I'd like to point out there/ suggest is make sure you let them know of your allergies or some food items or ingredients that make your stomach upset. It will be good if you do so as indian food is new to you guys and there are bunch of items we use such as peanuts which are generally allergic to foreigners so just a precautionary measure you know. Btw loved your family vibe and good to see y'all loving the food here!
@@AmericansinIndiathat's a good price according to the food and ambience (I don't know about the taste but it was looking delicious) ... Keep enjoying lovely family❤
