We went to Navi Mumbai and stayed with Flamingo City airbnb which we recommend to anyone visiting. Walking around a local mall and tasting some delicious food!
If you're going to explore Mumbai itself, a few recommendations for you: Food: There is a fabulous Gujarati 'street food' restaurant in Tardeo called Swati Snacks (opposite Bhatia hospital). The food is amazing, as are their fresh juices. Be warned though, it's very popular and there are normally queues outside! The best seafood restaurant in Mumbai is Trishna in Kala Ghoda, South Mumbai. It's a must-do! Their Koliwadi prawns are to die for, as is their garlic-butter crab! I eat there at least once a visit! There is Copper Chimney in Worli, superb Punjabi food, they make fabulous dal makhani (black dal cooked in cream!), highly recommended! They also have other branches in the city, but the Worli one is the original. There's a lovely pizza restaurant called Pizza By The Bay on the corner of Marine Drive and Veer Nariman road in South Mumbai. Things to visit/see: The Banganga water tank on Malabar Hill, an old reservoir built many centuries ago. Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum (formerly the V&A museum Bombay), in Byculla East. Crawford Market, great for wandering around, in Fort, near to CST station. The lovely area of Khotachiwadi in South Mumbai is great to walk around, with narrow lanes, it's old Portuguese architecture, and is near Chowpatty Beach, which is also nice to walk on and watch the sunset! The sunsets from Marine Drive looking out on the Arabian Sea are always beautiful. Good luck and have fun! Mumbai is mad and exciting (and very noisy!!).

Thank you, when its just me and her we seem to blend in and locals speak to us in Hindi before English but once we speak... the cats out of the bag. Hahaha

Thank you for your support! Well we actually needed a change of scenery and being able to work from home helped us not be so tied down. India has great people and great food so why not leave the U.S. to move to Bharat hahaha

Avoid trying too much outside food, You are new in Indian climate, water, food culture. Indian too don't eat those resturants or street food frequently bcz they are heavy. It's good for special occasions or change. Indian daily staple food should be better option for you. Many foreigners takes time to adjust to Indian food.
Make a video with title "Foreigners try golgappa" so eat only golgappa (in english water balls) it helps get views that will be converted to subs right away. Foreigners word get more views than americans just saying & thumbnail should be a must click. I hope ur subs skyrocket to 1 million by the end of 2024 ❤ Beautiful Family
I can guarantee that entire meal for all would cost 4 5 times higher than India. If its 20 dollar in India its gonna be 100 dollars in US or even more.
Yes of course we are, we just don't get every minute of our time at the restaurants or it would be an extremely long video! Hahaha thank you for the concern
@@AmericansinIndia One more thing, you need to carry a 5 or 10 liter mineral water bottle to your room every night or else you will get health issues due to the frequent water changes.
