It's interesting, I'm from the US but moved to South America. I've met up with plenty of other Americans here, and it's amazing how many foods that were staples for me in NE Ohio they never knew/ never tried. Like, they never had pierogi and kielbasa (we have a lot of people with Polish ancestry here), or corn dogs, or scalloped potatoes, or green bean casserole. That completely blew my mind.

A sad Pancake Untrue, Armenia is a beautiful country. If you go to Armenia looking for modern commodities, (skyscrapers, mega cities, large chain companies, etc) you’re not going to find that. However, Armenia’s nature is breathtaking, our history is deeply rooted and very interesting, our people, (although conservative) incredibly nice/ kind hearted.

None of the “Armenian” foods are actually Armenian. They are all regional dishes that are enjoyed in the present day Balkans, Mediterranean, Caucasus, Western Asia, and post-Soviet states. The Armenian girls pretty much mispronounced all the dishes too. Not a good example of genuine Armenian eats.

I’m really confused and shocked that these foods are literally same with Turkish foods. Boreg is called börek in Turkish and Tahn is called ayran and basically the same thing as in Turkey. And also Talar said that they have lahmacun (Idk how to spell it in Armenian language but that is lahmacun in Turkey) also belongs to Turkish cuisine. If Americans like the taste of Armenian foods, they also will like the taste of Turkish cuisine and treats. I would be very pleasant if you swap Turkish snacks and American snacks ASAP ☺️☺️

I dont think these are armenian snacks at all exept the last one because I never heard of it. But like borek and ayran are snacks you can find in the balkan in turkey and in countries around turkey so its more like a region snack, and not armenian!
@anittastar7315
@anittastar7315 5 лет назад

@bulucukezban4429
@bulucukezban4429 5 лет назад
I didnt say it is orginally turkish or armenian. As I mentioned above, lahmacun and börek are more like regional snacks you can find it in Turkey, Syria, Armenia etc... Lahmacun is actually an arab word which means meat on bread so you cant tell that it is armenian or greek. Börek is a snack which is very famous in the balkans and middle east every country has another variation. The yoghurt drink is definitly not armenian neither greek it comes from central Asia the orginal home of Turkish and Mongolian nomads. I think only the last snack in this video is something thay really belongs to armenia. Next time pls do a little research before you write. Thank you
