I am Nigerian-American studying in Ireland. I experienced culture shock coming to Ireland not gonna lie and have experienced so many microaggressions. I have had so many Irish people think I am directly from Africa even though I open my mouth and have an obvious American accent. And the dating here really isn't good for people of color.

Hi guys love your video mostly the reason we don't have huge numbers of black people in Ireland is we never colonised any country in Africa or anywhere else when the UK plundered and pillaged countess countries around the world 🌎 us being the first in 1198 we were treated like slaves for 800 years when they enslaved all the other nations the told the inhabitants of Africa in particular that the great white Queen 👸 was their Queen hundreds of years ago the vast majority of them had no means to get to Britain but now in past 60 years the ancestors of those people have no trouble and can rightfully say well you us we are British and the British sold us as slaves an African slave was worth £50 an Irish slave was worth £5 which meant if a job was dangerous and could lead to dead they used as for those dangerous tasks because obviously you won't risk a slave wort £50 when you have slaves that were only worth £5 we were considered as vermin that had no real worth a black lady did a wonderful history of the Irish slave history the British propaganda says these were indentured servants an American woman last week that indentured servants were slaves I said no they weren't the indentured servitude was a legally binding contract that put a person who had no money to go to the new world in contact with a farmer a business man in America or other places around the British empire so the person in new would would pay your passage you would agree to work for that person in the new world so it's certainly wasn't slavery the person accepting the money to go to the far flung empire had a choice and the prospect of working for years was for them they knew they would get their freedom once their contract was up something they could never have under British occupation I would suggest you Google black womans history of Irish slaves No my only observation the young man your video said something about pizza in Dublin I found that very odd I think 🤔 outside of Italy 🇮🇹 I am sure America 🇺🇸 is probably the next biggest place for pizza 🍕 and we might not have variety of London but I am certain we have enough variety and the young man and one of the ladies said the cook for themselves I recommend Google Dublin coddle receipe most counties in Ireland have a dish thats associated with that country in a coddle everything is boiled a wonderful treat when your coddle is served take a slice of bread butter the bread Place a boiled sausage on the bread and make a sandwich I know a lot of people visiting different countries will try the local dish well living in Dublin as you are try our signature dish if you can't cook it just Google where you can get it in Dublin apart from the vegetarian I think you will love it I do guided tours for a hobby if you want to join send me a message I would be delighted to share our amazing history wuth you
