In this video we react to funny British animal voiceovers. To make it extra fun we decided to make this video into a try not to laugh challenge. This was absolutely hilarious, so we failed the challenge! LOL I love this type of comedy. This type of British humour had us both laughing out loud. Brits have an awesome accent for funny animal voiceovers. :)
Thanks for watching. If you enjoyed this reaction please give this video a thumbs up, share your thoughts in the comments and click the subscribe button to follow my journey to learn about my British and Irish ancestry.

I completely agree! It's lovely to see both reactions, gives me more food for thought too! This one however will be a giggle! Let's see if our "lighter humour" makes them laugh. Our darker, not-for-the-thin-skinned humour, may not do so well with these lovely two... 😅

After this was aired the British public adopted the joke of shouting ALAN in public and a stranger would automatically shout STEVE! Usually when drunk at music festivals. It’s become a nationally recognised joke between us all.

That "Alan" one has become notorious on the Music Festival scene here. Usually at about 1Am, when everyone is crashing out, some bright spark in the campsite calls out "Alan! Alan!" and then some other twat from the other side of the field calls back "Alan!" and then others join in. It's kind of the background music to being high or drunk in a tent at a festy in the dark of the night. Usually goes on till about 4AM.

Shortly after this came out I was working abroad and frequented an Irish bar in the evenings after work. The Irish guys would do the Alan Alan thing every time I walked in ( you guessed it my name is Alan) my friend Steve also frequented the bar. So one night,I actually arrived about 2 minutes before Steve ( he normally finished earlier) it was perfectly timed. I got the usual Alan Alan for about 2 minutes as I died of thirst then Steve walked in to uproar from the staff. Needless to say we actually got a free drink after they picked themselves of the floor about 15 minutes later!

I think you may be thinking of a film from the 1970's called Beautiful People. It does have baboons and ( I think) elephants who eat fermented fruit and then get hangovers. However, there is a part of the film about flamingos who nest on a lake high in salt or soda. What happens to their babies made me upset when I saw this film at the cinema. There may be other video somewhere of animals getting drunk on fermented fruit. But this film is the one I remember seeing.

You should do a reaction to the Stephen Fry differences between American and British comedy... It's incredibly astute.

We used to have a programme on TV here in the UK called "Animal Magic" that featured many animal voiceovers mainly voiced by the legendary "Johnny Morris". These are certainly worth a look over if you want to go into this subject matter any further.
