8:22 that will be the 2nd tallest building in the world. People dont honk that often in Malaysia. The sound was probably put in by Skyrun for fun. You dont get to see the whole city light up like in the video that often. Maybe during festivals. Skyrun is a well known channel his videos are top notch, it would have been nice if you mentioned about his channel when reacting to his videos.

Malaysia actually doesnt honk that often. It's possible that the sound might be added by Skyrun for fun. I think someone has tried to make a comparison video of Malaysian traffic and other southeast asian countries and they had to wait for hours just to get a couple of honks in Malaysian traffic. I've lived here in Malaysia my whole life but even I just realised after that video how quiet Malaysian drivers are. Of course you'd hear it once in awhile, it's not forbidden whatsoever. It's just that Malaysians generally are quiet drivers so if one person honks, they'd stand out.

About a year after this video, you guys arrived in KL for the first time, KL just woke up after pandemic and lockdown in 2022, and you guys were a little disappointed, but glad to see you enjoyed it more a year later for the second visit.

The National Monument is a sculpture that commemorates those who died in Malaysia's struggle for freedom, principally against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency, which lasted from 1948 until 1960.
