I love watching rugby union (what the honey badger played) I went to a Brumbies (professional rugby union team from Canberra) home game playing the western force (honey badgers team) well he loved a party I saw him walk to a car carrying 3 boxes of beer from a company he used to do commercials for.

In the blue shirts he's playing for the Western Force rugby union team from Perth Western Australia.. had the joy of meeting him and watching him play. In the Gold it's the Wallabies.. the stripes the Barbarians.. he was playing in Japan at the end of his career..

Here's some translation for people: "Up the guts" means straight up the middle, usually in relation to going somewhere or a thing (tore the car up the guts) not so much a person. Screamer = really exciting, good crack = good try, get into it = throw your effort behind it, going off like a cut snake = being sore, Tip = garbage dump, squawk = yell/shout, tinnies = can of alcohol, buzz = phone call, rat up a drainpipe = fast, good bird = nice woman, kick tyres, light the fires = make an impact & get things going.

He also competed in the first season of SAS Australia where real former SAS soldiers put people through an SAS assessment course over 2 weeks. It’s brutal. It’s not scripted. It’s full on. He was one of only 3 celebrities (including a Comedian and a Female AFL player) who passed the course - out of 12 who started. In Season 2, Sam Burgess the former South Sydney Rabnitohs (NRL) player was the ONLY one to pass (Mark Phillippusous - tennis player and John Steffanson - Olympian finished, but did not pass).

Oddly I think Honey Badger has brains under the hood. He uses extensive metaphors on the spot all the time, while not copying them from common phrases etc. He is just a larrikin that says some unexpected stuff and people are off guard and some dumbies don't get the metaphors so think HB is just stupid given it's his look.

We hear about Oreos alot in Aus. S'mores. So it's seems like everyone loves them? Nicknames should be given. But if you are good enough you can pick your own. The thing is, if you are not liked enough to give yourself a nickname then people won't use it anyway.

I reckon the rule is: you can give yourself a nickname. Then it is to see if team mates, or mates, accept it. If you ain't got charisma or chops, the name won't stick, and you're likely to receive another! I've also noticed, here in Aus., that nicknames can be handed down in a family (girls or boys, from their parents; the youngsters adopt them, or are given it, on account of the parents). My nephew is a water polo player, and his nickname is Bully or Bullfrog, which was also the nickname of his father, also a water polo player. His team mates took it on, as early as 6 years of age.
