To be fair most of the track wasn’t about lady leshur. IVD is a RU-vid/ influencer turned rapper so I think it’s unfair to compare her to lady leshur who’s been in games for ages. I think IVD has done much better than people expected for a novice !

All of this started because Vanessa (IVD) got into a fight with a RU-vidr named MissRFabulous (Renee) - Renee pulled up to fight her over some situation and was shouting 'VANESSA!" for her to come outside and fight her... Then Leshurr recorded a track (called Horrid) and had Renee in the video screaming" VANESSA! " as part of the song. That's literally the only reason IVD sent for Leshurr all this time later.

For next uk reaction u hav to get on RA- 2020 wrap up 🥶🥶🇬🇧 It’ll help u guys out so much it’s a crazy track where he basically sums up the year. But in terms of UK stuff it’ll rlly help u guys coz obvi he speaks on things like George floyd and the virus. But in terms of Uk it’ll really broaden ur lens of the uk scene coz he sums up all that went on (e.g the rappers that got locked up, the rappers who came home, bugzy’s bike crash, the dutchavelli scandal, tion Wayne and headie ones fight on the way to dubai, stormzy going to chips house. And pure music wise he speaks on the bangers that came out new up and comers and all the people who charted stuff like that. But he also speaks on the American scene things like pop and vons deaths. This would be so good to broaden ur knowledge Uk scene in terms of artists u should know who’s e comin up and whose poppin and then jus fill in the gaps with external situations. But also a lot of American stuff which u guys can relate to. On top of all that. The tune bangs! 😂

the thing is lady leshurr has always been spoken very highly since 2016 because of her queen speeches, but some people would argue that IVD is better because unlike lady L she fits within the current trend and definitely outshines other female artists on the uk scene.

For context, the track that IVD is referring to in terms of being name dropped is Lady Leshurr - Horrid (the one she dropped 1 year and 9 months since the daily duppy). IVD's name is Vanessa. Thats where Lady Leshurr did that flow where she goes "dun dun dun dun dun dun" _(Lady leshurr also uses that type of flow in tracks like Astronaut and in her F64 FYI)_
