Sharon is like the wonder woman of singers - powerful and good - and it just comes out in so many ways in her voice. There are layers of sweetness, softness, and raw power all while staying in control across her tremendous range.

I have seen this many times and love it. Beautiful song with some sadness but also hope. Her dark hair against that white angel dress is such a great contrast. Beautiful video and it is just like a quick treat that allows you to think about so much, simple but complex. I hear it and it makes me think of the song must have been the roses by the grateful dead and the lyric "one pane of glass in the window, no one is complaining though, come in and shut the door, faded is the crimson from the ribbons that she wore, and it's strange how no one comes round anymore."

They have a number of other very emotional songs the out there, and one of them was only released on a limited basis..... I think it's the biggest tearjerker and it's called The Swan Song... Other than that there are other songs going way back to the 1990s with Sharon's alternate voice and her growth... Restless, Bittersweet, Pale, Forgiven.... All of them are so good. I am going to request that The Swan Song be played at my funeral!!!!

Do you remember 10 year old Jackie Evancho, the classical singer from America's got talent in 2010? In 2013 her mom was looking for a suggestions of songs for her to cover on an upcoming album which Became her album called AWAKENING. Being the Sharon fan that I am, And seeing similarities in the brightness of tone in both Sharon's voice and evancho's voice, I set out to convince her mother to do 1 of 4 different within Temptation ballads... I finally convinced her on "Memories." She did do it and you can hear her clear unlayered classical-crossover version, Either from the album, Or from a live concert that aired on PBS... Which I have witnessed her do live and it's even better than the one on the album, in my opinion. During there North American tour in 2014, I was able to get a copy of the CD to within temptation, which they did listen to on their tour bus before the show. After the show Sharon said she loved it... So good... If anything, within temptation earned some royalties for that cover!!!!

I wanted to go see within Temptation in Tampa inconcert last night, but I could not afford the d*** tickets that were left... Resellers cranked the prices up plus they were whisper play along with iron maiden for their October North American tour dates.. So what many of the venues , Including the big arena in Tampa, It was I'm all sold out and take tickets were honored $150, Or more, for the remaining cheapo seats. I have seen them live in 2011 and 2014 though.
