The difference between many clips is, that you are way faster without having to control the ball. Nr. 10 was without the ball in most clips. That’s why he seemed way faster than Nr. 9
Walker is definitely quicker than Vinicius both without the ball, I’d say Vinicius is quicker over like 5-10 yards but after that Walker is way quicker
@@cedricherve5772 Bro Arjen Robben was so fast. I felt so proud when my Costa Rica team almost beat his team on the world cup quarter finals. Gamboa was just faster and better than Robben on everything that match, he took out his everything. They love him at Voschum and he still plays, but not anymore for the national team :(
People don't realize how fast Hakimi really is because he is a really smooth runner. But he is the only player who creates most separation in side by side runs.
Marcus Rashford, Liverpool? ... you're going to start a war if you're not careful 😂 Edit: Then Joel says "The Man City guy" if I didn't know better, I'd say you were trolling your audience.
Yea, that was like saying, "Michael Jordan, he played for the showtime Lakers right" and the guy says, "No I heard he was with the bad boy Pistons." That's how you insight a war.
The British sprinter Adam Gemili went to the Olympics and got a bronze medal in the 100 metres. He was originally a footballer but people spotted his speed so he switched to athletics instead.
Jürgen Klinsmann was originally a decathlete. I didn't know it at the time, and while he was a great player it was often hilarious how his legs were like oversized springs that tried to overtake him, or how he often simply did not hit the ball. Still, when he did hit the ball he scored many incredible goals, from a spectators point of view ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZJNBQyEOZwo.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W7FWDy4PdAQ.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ARiBSZd9ZkA.html
@@bred9971he played in Spain, in Germany and in Italy and it was the same. Were the Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A players slow ? And it’s the same for Mbappé ?
🤣football has positions and they have to press oponents accordingly. You clearly know nothing, its not rugby. Football is played by tactics and stratigies and is a team game, nomatter how good of a player like ronaldo and messi you have, at the end the game is won by those who have tactics and teamwork. Literally noone chases after one guy, if you do so you open up the spac3 for opponents to score. They stick to their positions like upffront there are strikers, left and right wingers. In mid they have midfielders, Attacking or defensive mid, Left or right mid, In last they have defense which includes Centre back, left and right back also known as full back and Goalkeeper. They stick in their position, its like soldiers guarding their areas. They dont give space to opponents and press like it may be high pressing game or low pressing, it may be attacking game or defensive game, thats why football is very hard to score.
Vini Jr is pretty fast. 9th is a huge degrade for him. Plus one thing to consider is they are not just running but also have the ball at their feet and have to control it.
In the real rank (I don't know where this video rank jump out) he's even not in the top 10. Here the real top 10 (2023) Sven Botman (Newcastle): 39,21 km/h Darwin Nunez (Liverpool): 38 km/h Kylian Mbappé (PSG): 37.9 km/h Mykhaylo Mudryk (Chelsea): 36.63 km/h Ousmane Dembelé (Barcelona): 36.6 km/h Adama Traoré (Wolverhampton): 36.6 km/h Rafael Leao (Milan): 36.5 km/h Federico Valverde (Real Madrid): 36.3 km/h; Alphonso Davies (Bayern Monaco): 36.21 km/h; Nuno Tavares (Marseille): 36.21 km/h.
That's why football is so interesting as a world's ball game. It's actually and consequently played with the foot and the players run fast and are almost constantly running/ moving. American Football is mainly a scrimmage of muscular players, it's show, it pauses a lot and the "egg" is carried by the hands.
The word football wasn't coined to refer to how players made contact with the ball, it was a generic term referring to ball games played on foot as opposed to on horseback, and oval-shaped balls pre-date round balls.
There are many subjective things about this video. You can't compare a player who runs with a ball and one who runs without the ball. I could tell you about a player in the 90s and 2000s who was fast, but not the fastest, but that always impressed me because he had so much control of the ball (stuck to his right foot) that his speed while running with the ball was the same as running without the ball. Also, number 10 was a defensive player which means that most of the time, when he runs, he comes from the back and has time to accelerate and arrive at the front at peak velocity whereas other players who are midfielders or forward players don't have that much space to accelerate. To them, it's important to be fast, but more important than that is their capacity to accelerate, to "burst" so to speak. A player like Messi was never the fastest (imo) but he has an incredible capacity to "explode" and go from standing still to (his) full speed in a fraction of a second.
Hi jps, I watched your video series from your visit to Germany. I'll write to you under this video so you can see it. I would like to thank you very much. As a German, it fills me with pride that you like us so much. But I would also like to apologize to you. Some comments are very critical of the Americans. I think there should be more deferencing between Americans and your government. You are a good person and they are always welcome in Germany. I wish you and your family all the luck in the world. sry 4 my english ☺
A player that really gets overlooked for speed, but is honestly up there with the quickest players I’ve seen irl is Hwang Hee Chan from wolves. It was frightening watching his blow down the wing.
The first clip of Mbappe is truly crazy as he done this vs the fastest player on Poland and one of the fastest players in Serie A is truly crazy. That player also has the same or 1 less pace then Mbappe on fifa. And that player also dribbles people by dribbling it far infront himself.
Fun fact Mbappé and Diaby (same age) started football and played together at the AS Bondy club in Paris surroundings. Too good, they were often separated by educators to balance.
I looking forward to the comments from Manchester United fans. Firstly Calling Marcus Rashfordva Liverpool player than a Manchester City player. Looooool hilarious. Manchester United's 2 biggest rivals and I mean hatred rivals of passion and tribalism, you would not believe and to say Rashford is playing for both them teams has made my day.
Hello Joel. A bit of a tangent, but did you see the Women's World Cup at all. Lauren Hemp played really well, no doubt full of confidence after Usain Bolt asked for her Manchester City shirt, with the name Hemp on the back.
2:03 that movement you're talking about, playing the ball around one side of the other player and running around the other, in German we call that Bauerntrick = "peasants trick". It's not a sign of great technique but you can make it work if you are either really fast or just confuse the other.
another thing worth mentioning is that pure speed alone doesn't achieve anything in football. There are videos of Usain Bolt playing and while he showed some incredible short sprints, deeper analysis shows that the greatest players like Ronaldo are not that much slower. We are talking about the difference between someone running let's say 30 meters in 3.0 seconds vs 3.1 or 3.2 .. Bolt did have a certain skill with the ball but not on the level of great players so in spite of his team giving him the best setups for goal he only scored a measly 2 goals and they were just 1 easy goal from a deflected ball and 1 good shot (with his mass, power and above average technique he had a powerful shot actually). Ronaldo however does the sprint almost as fast as Bolt and then automatically switches back to being one of the most skilled players with foot or head, who jumps as high almost as a pole jumper, and on his famous bicycle kick the foot was not only almost 2.5 meters high, he also hit the ball perfectly. To sum up, some of those guys are incredible at almost anything and it doesnt matter if there is a guy who is better at just 1 thing.
Here the real top 10 (2023) Sven Botman (Newcastle): 39,21 km/h Darwin Nunez (Liverpool): 38 km/h Kylian Mbappé (PSG): 37.9 km/h Mykhaylo Mudryk (Chelsea): 36.63 km/h Ousmane Dembelé (Barcelona): 36.6 km/h Adama Traoré (Wolverhampton): 36.6 km/h Rafael Leao (Milan): 36.5 km/h Federico Valverde (Real Madrid): 36.3 km/h; Alphonso Davies (Bayern Monaco): 36.21 km/h; Nuno Tavares (Marseille): 36.21 km/h.
Hey guys ... great vid ... these players are all wired up by OPTA during games so the results are correct ... watching Mbappe turn on the afterburners is one hell of a sight.
Strange Video. Kyle Walker is 34, and is still one of the FASTEST players in the Premier League. And he's a defender. Marcus Rashford, when he first appeared for Man United as a 17/18 year old - he easily had to be the FASTEST player in England. His speed was amazing. Now at 26, he plays like he just doesn't care.
fun fact that buffed guy Adama Traore barely goes to the gym i mean he goes but not to lift weights there is an like whole vlog about him and its simply great genetics even he said he do not lifts mainly train with his body weight and stuff what other footballers do but his genes do the job in some way
Darwin Nunez is missing in the list. Pretty sure he holds the premier league top speed record. Also how can Haaland not be on the list? The guy is built like a tank and runs 37km/h top speed xD
I think it is worth remembering that those defenders these fast running players are passing, likely are ten times faster than any of us even when we where in our prime... :D
You should do a vidoe on players with amazing skills because I know one player who has amazing skills and he is fast and he is called kaoru Mitoma and he plays for Brighton and he is amazing
When looking at football player speed we need to look at how fast they are WITH the ball. They are all a bit faster without the ball since you are focused on your touch when running with the ball so your brain will slow you down so that you don't take a heavy touch and lose the ball.
Interesting vid,but notice the specific player's club are not mentioned in their table captions ! 🙄 P.S. Noting your comments about [No.2] WWFC's Traore's 'buff' physique, there is an older YT compilation vid of his all-round gameplan where defenders, etc, are literally just 'bouncing off' him in their aimless efforts to stop or obstruct his surging attack runs ! 😂
I was waiting for No. 3 and was gonna bring his name up if he didn't make it into this lineup but yeah, definitely one of the fastest defenders rn, and Rashford plays for Manchester United not Liverpool or Man City.
There will be a new video out soon about the 20 fastest players in fifa 24 by home of football, this list was just subjective and a mix of eye test and opinion. Fifa is pretty much the same but a little more players, cos at the speeds they are running at there are only small margins separating them
Pace is actually not that simple to make top10. There is many players who could easily outran even Mbappe here, but are not mentioned. Raw pace is one thing, but there's also acceleration. Have a player for example like Ronald Araujo (Centre Back of FC Barcelona and Uruguay). He showed a lot of times that he can compare to someone like Dembele or Vinicius with and without the ball, but hes more like a long distance runner, he needs more time to build speed. So yea.
Anyone who isn't a winger often gets overlooked in terms of pace, because they obviously don't have the acceleration that wingers do, but players like Araujo, Rüdiger, Valverde, Llorente or Theo Hernandez can and do outrun the players on this list
I remember older versions of these types of videos where they used to put the running speed, acceleration time and sprints but they don't do that now which kind sucks cuz then it's just what your eye perceives to be fast plus these clips aren't that great.
Can't be on board with any list without Traoré at #1. He just is the fastest. Also, this was a pick from "big" clubs. A player like Karim Adeyemi has the speed record in Bundesliga, he is one of the very fastest players in the world, but he isn't in it. Could even argue for St Juste.
Well to be honest..to watch ball skilled players doing magical things with the ball is by far way more interesting than watching fast runners....just saying....because a ball skilled player don´t has the need to be quick because he can dribble his way through the opponent´s defence line anyway.with the ball artistically close to his feet by doing body swerves, and other feints of all kind and what not.... No critic just an advice In reality you can extremely humiliate a football player by saying into his face "All what you can do is just running fast and that´s it"
Saudi club Al-Hilal, majority owned by the PIF, is offering a one-year deal to the PSG striker. The reported offer includes a $332M transfer fee and $776M salary, which would make Mbappe the highest-paid athlete.
Should update the video, there are are now world superstar in The making Rasmus Højlund He has outrun entire defence with ball he done it in atalanta he did it yet again agains galatasaray from own half and scored a pretty good goal. We have to get use to haaland hojlund mbappe rivaly
Let me start out by saying i wouldn't want to do a 100m dash against any of these guys...But i'm not sure about this list or ranking of the players & you have to distinguish between running with or without the ball... Players potentially missing on this list : Nuno Tavares, Erling Haaland, Federico Valverde, Rafael Leao, Darwin Nunez, Mohamad Salah, Karim Adeyemi, Anthony Gordon, Antonio Rüdiger & probably a handful of other players as well.
i mean i would not put halland in this list same with nunez valverde yea salah not as fast as he was before and rudiger well his running is something else 😂
See when you are defender you always run backwards and that's why look so easy and fast to cross bcs defender must turn all his body and start run and defenders are mostly strong build not very fast if it's not wing like was Carlos and how call left foot play for Chelsea when Drogba and Terry best Chelsea team
just to add some context on kyle walker, he is 33 years old, and a defender. in his heyday no one could compare to his speed, he has obviously slowed somewhat with age 😏 not the best player by any standards but damn he was fast lol
