@@DoubleDragonBroz another frenchy here, just to add that we're culturally curious about ALL the others cultures, that's why most of the treats you tried, are in fact inspired by recipes from all around the world ! We're not called "the food country" for no reason, after all ! And last thing : the nutri-score is a damn good idea, but was SADLY poorly executed, since it doesn't adjust the calculations to the food category AT ALL, and even nutritionists hate it for this reason (OFC butter is not good for your life if you eat the whole block in one go, but that's not intended to be ate like that anyway, so... WHY calculating its nutri-score like that ?! IT'S DUMB !!). Was fun seeing your reactions to those things I used to ate when I was a kid... well, I'm convincing nobody there, so... YES, I still eat some of those LOL but don't judge me, please ^^"... or at least not too much ,_,

Kinder is german but we have different ones in each country in western europe like you can find some types of Kinder in France that you don't have in germany vice versa etc And Kinder means KID in german

@@asdded8578 Uh, if Wikipedia's anything to go by, this is not true - Kinder seems to be (and always to have been) produced by Ferrero, which is definitely an Italian company. I do know that "Kinder" is "Kid" in German (and I thought it was German too!), I specifically checked before typing that comment so I didn't misinform anyone.

According to Wikipedia, it was introduced in Italy and Germany first: "In 1968, Kinder Chocolate, a milk chocolate with a milky filling, was introduced to the German and Italian markets, gained commercial success, and was later sold in other European countries." According to a page that gives "10 facts about Kinder": "1. While the Germans discovered Italy as a holiday destination in the 1950s, Michele Ferrero went up north to Germany to open his first chocolate factory outside Italy in 1956. Kinder chocolate was first introduced to the German market in 1968 and quickly hit the Italian market that same year before spreading to other countries in the Mediterranean region. The chocolate is still being produced in Germany and Italy. [...] 4. Kinder was initially meant for the German market but has now spread to all parts of the world." So basically the answer seems to be that Michele (the son of the founder of Ferrero), opened their first chocolate factory outside of Italy in Germany, in response to the influx of tourism from that place.
