The thing about the red pepper chips: They´re seasoned with a powder, made from dried and ground up red bell peppers. That stuff is quite often used for barbeque sauces, hence the resemblance.

you don't need the Pumpernickel if you don't like it ... there are still over 3000 varieties of german bread to choose from ;-)

Love the way you pronounce cocoa as cow cow. Thought the Lindt 100% bar might be bitter. Had 70% bars with freeze dried fruit and thankfully the fruit adds some much needed sweetness to it.

Not red pepper - they are paprika flavour. Paprika is made out of a type of red pepper.

You two are just the best, brilliant video and possibly made better by the fact that you did this blind. Your pronunciation was a joy to hear although you guessed most things correctly and your reactions whether good or bad were fantastic. As for those Ungarisch crisps (chips in USA) it literally translates to Hungarian and the flavour is supposed to be Hungarian Goulash. The pumpernickel should really be eaten with a good spread of butter and yes, they are very healthy but not really for me either. Sorry about the Mozart balls but I really love these with the marzipan. As for the sweet mustard it's a Bavarian tradition eaten with the Bavarian white sausages (Weißwurst), in fact a traditional Bavarian breakfast (not on a working day!) would be Weißwurst, that sweet mustard, a Breze (pretzel to you) and Weißbier (wheat beer). Just found you guys recently I’m loving your reviews. The 100% dark chocolate was funny 😄

Creased again watching you two... that reaction to the 100% dark chocolate finished me off! 😂😂😂 My Taid (grandad) was German, so we used to get loads of goodies sent over from family there... absolute best was Lebkuchen (gingerbread) and various chocolates, but also the Toffifee and paprika crisps (although not the brand you had there). Pumpernickel is definitely an acquired taste though, and one I didn’t appreciate until my 20’s! If you have an Aldi near to you, it’s worth having a look for those cheese twists (and Lebkuchen at Christmas!); they won’t do the exact brand, but they do fantastic rip offs of them! I’ve just watched another video from an American couple, and they picked up some up, along with another flavour, from there. Plus who doesn’t love a trip down the Aldi aisle of dreams... go in for a cauliflower, come home with a wetsuit, a chainsaw, and a unicorn cake tin!
