Andrea is one of the bests when it comes to water fitness! He knows exactly what he is doing, and he is spot on of teaching this class. I could easily follow him and do the moves in the water. His routine is definitely not for recovery though, so if you are teaching aqua aerobics for the older adults, you might find this a bit too intense for them.
i teach in the water and love this teacher but are the students keeping up with him ? i find if i move at the speed they move in the water it helps them / has this teacher ever been in the water
When the instructor shows they have their whole foot on the floor, should I be the same on the pool? Because I notice Im always on the balls of my feet and I end up at the end of class with neck pain.
i think thats one of the reasons why you should wear aquashoes. because of the resistance of water people inthe water are likely land with their balls of the foot.
You may not see this, but you want to land full foot and soft as possible. We naturally want to be on our tippy toes and that will cause our calves to burn up or other issues as in your neck pain. That could be from straining or keeping those shoulders up and not back and down. But yes, full foot landing. I'm always reminding my members to get off their tippy toes. 😊 As the previous comment, Aqua shoes will definitely help with traction on the pool floor.
Hello Kay, I have asked Andrea for the music, but it was too long ago. He does not have the playlist anymore. Good news though, soon there will be a new video of Andrea at AMIAC 2018. Stay tuned!
che cosa rara un istruttore che si muove per TUTTO il tempo della lezione...una buona percentuale va in modalità risparmio energetico e non solo! Non conta nemmeno il tempo musicale a parte gli ultimi 4 tempi di ogni frase musicale!
