Amillennialists Believe What?! Postmillennialism Teaches What?! Response To Al Mohler Eschatology 

I never heard a Premillenialist explain Amill or Postmill correctly or present their best arguments and biblical prooftexts.

Mohler totally misrepresented Postmil, I stopped listening to Mohler back in 2016 when he attempted to give women who had an abortion a pass and defended Russell Moore all because he was a never Trumper. Mohler compared to Jon Harris is irrelevant.

There is a reason full preterism is growing. This video gives a good demonstration for why.

Just saw the title and knew exactly what you were referring to because I watched the same video a few days ago that he put out recently where he gave a description of amillennialist that was so disingenuous it hurt my head. It was frustrating that he gave such a poor answer to a genuine question from a guy who is trying to figure it out.

Postmillenialists believe His Kingdom and Eternal will, will be realized both in Heaven and on Earth through the success of the Great Commission, so that when we ask it in prayer, we believe it is going to be answered.

AMIL is a joint reign in Heaven and on Earth. Rev1:6 says that we are Christ’s kings and priests in the present tense. Can’t be a king without a reign. We need to propagate the Kingdom of Christ now, not look to the future.

I really don’t see any problem with Mohler’s brief thumbnails of the 3 general positions. Keep in mind that each position has dozens of different sub-sets with different perspectives on various details. He wasn’t trying to give a full-orbed lecture on each position and each sub-variant. It’s just a thumbnail. And I think he described them all fairly well. Interestingly, it seems to me that the pre-millennialists disagreed the most vehemently with his thumbnail of his own position, or at least that’s how it seemed to me lol. Anyway, this video is just being nit picky.

You are right brother. It took me years of study to find the truth. After finding the truth in God's word. I also found the KEY to understanding prophecy. It was so simple, and it would have saved me years of study if someone would have told me about this KEY. The KEY is to STUDY (Not read) what JESUS taught on the end-times FIRST. NOT Revelation FIRST. I would read Revelation over and over and would find passages that SEEM to contradict what Jesus taught. Then the Holy Spirit hit on the head, and my eyes were opened. Jesus (Mostly) taught very PLAINLY. John spoke with SIGNS and SYMBOLS. So, if you think you understand Revelation, you are WRONG, if it does NOT align with what Jesus taught. Thats why pre-tribers and pre-milers THINK they understand revelation, when they COMPLETLY ignore what JESUS taught. This is just one example. Jn5:28-29. ALL that are in the graves shall come forth. (Just and unjust together) Jesus NEVER taught a time period between this event or anyone left behind. Now pre-trib and pre-mil teachers will ADD to Gods word and FORCE a 7 year tribulation and a 1000 year kingdom in these verses, when JESUS DID NOT.

Thanks for the video, Mohler is wrong on many points of theology and application. I'd encouraged him to repent and retire. Speaking of the last two quotes by BB Warfield.. the second to last one was the same as the last one if that could be fixed on the screen.

I was cracking up because he failed to accurately articulate ALL THREE VIEWS lolol. He can have whatever unique premil flavor HE wants I guess but his description of premil didn't even describe what most premil people hold to. He said the millennial reign is an even greater perfection than Eden.......meanwhile MOST premil views say Christ rules with an iron rod, there will be animal sacrifices again, and there will still be wicked people who rise up against Christ at the end of the millennium......that sounds nothing like Mohler's view of a "more perfect Eden" lol

Amil don’t believe in a millennium, they literally don’t believe it. Therefore Amil is no millennium. It is spiritual and not a real 1000 years.

8:00 Mohler, things have been getting better and better. Of course not all the time. Would you rather live now or 100 years ago, how about 500 years ago etc. When Christ first came there was almost no believers it has been said there is up to 20% of the World are Christians. Jesus is ruling now and the last enemy to defeat is death 1st Corinthians 15:26-28. Your thinking says we are losing until Christ returns. Some have said anything other then postmil the glass is half empty instead of half full.
