Loved watching your reaction to this... That you felt the beauty of this music showed on your face. Bravo. Amira is unbelievably talented and amazing. I love her and this duet is one of the most sublimely beautiful things I have ever heard. I never tire of listening to it. It's opera, a lady and her servant are walking thru a garden and commenting on the flowers. this is her first performance after rmoving to South Africa. Her partner is Corlea Botha, a favorite of Amira's from the time Amira was very young. Amira asked her to be her partner in this duet. Both sing wonderfully.

Amira is just awesome. She was able to match a seasoned singer with no trouble. Amira just gets better and better as time goes by, For a very young girl, who self-taught herself, to her performance now is getter pretty awesome. At 9 years the judges said she was the reincarnation of Maria Callas,

The Flower Duet is from the opera Lakme . It is in French. Amira is singing with Corlea Botha big star in South Africa, part of the group of performers in the stable of Coleske Artists which Amira has also become a part of. You should React to Amira Willighagen-Your Love (theme from "Once Upon A Time in The West") Dec. 2nd 2017. In some ways this performance is even better than the Flower Duet. It was from the movie and is another great song written by Ennio Morricone. It is hauntingly beautiful and Amira sings it with power. Incredible performance. You can find it on RU-vid on the channel Amira Willighagen Official.

Nephi, thanks again for reacting on one of Amira's video's. The best thing to understand the impact of her voice are your intro words on her O Sole Mio reaction video, followed by your opposite reactions. You were completely overwhelmed and surprised. That happened with a lot of people and will continue the years ahead.

the other singer is a well known South African singer Her name I Corlea Botha They are singing in French also Amira is thirteen she was nine when she won Hollands got Talent this was sung at the same concert as Amazing Grace

Amazing. One of the best song duets ever made. This a masterfully beautiful song by Léo Delibes. Another song you may find very incredible is from the movie “Shawshank Redemption” when the character Andy plays Mozart’s opera song-more like movement or sectio of the opera song called The Marriage of Figiro”-for all the prisoners when he locks himself in the wardens office and takes over the loud speakers throughout the prison yards. Just going over a few of your reaction videos of Amira Willighagen & notice you haven’t reacted to her for , it appears, over 12 months. Nephi, I’d love you to react to her performance of a medley from Sound of Music which was recorded in 2019 when she was 15 yrs old. It is an outstanding performance. Her diction is clear & crisp & the resonance of her voice lingers in ones head for some time. She is an outstanding performer & a truely lovely young lady. In the past you yourself have been somewhat overwhelmed by Amira & her exceptional voice, so I am certain you would absolutely be enthralled with this performance. Hoping you can get the time for another Amira reaction. Cheers

Dafydd Llewellyn Hello again, Daffyd, I hope this finds you and your wife doing well and enjoying life. I am sure you are patiently anticipating the arrival of Amira's new CD. I had to order my copy via snail mail so I imagine you will receive your copy weeks before I receive mine. If It's not too big an imposition, I would love to get your impressions and reaction to Amira's new album, especially the new songs.It certainly seems to be an interesting and eclectic mix. I hope it sells as well as it should. I recently stumbled across Kathleen Battle and Renee Kollo singing Lippen Schweigen, just a lovely performance. Her tone and approach to the music had more then a hint of Amira in it. Reminded me of Miranda's admonition to adapt more of Kathleen's vocal approach rather then Callas. There is a certain freedom in the way Battle sings compared to Callas. Like Amira, it just seems to flow out while Callas always sounded tightly constrained and gruff in her approach. Heresy I know, but except for a period of time in her younger days I always felt Callas voice could never approach the sheer beauty of Battles voice. Anyway if you are not familiar with that performance let me know what you think. Too soon for Amira to perform? Probably, be lovely to hear though.

Probably about four weeks before it arrives in my letterbox, but OK. I've been busy watching what news there is of her performances at "Starlight Classics"; seems she's advancing faster than anyone expected. No, I've not seen KB singing Lippen Schweigen, but I'll look at it, thanks. I doubt your assessment is heresy . . .

Hi Nephi, I see you haven’t reacted to any of Amira’s performances for a loooong long time, so I am suggesting you react to her singing a medley of Sound of Music. This is an absolute delight to listen to. The year is 2019 when Amira was 15 years old(young) & her performance is flawless. The resonance of her voice & her beautiful diction is amazing. I know you have a great admiration for Amira & this is one you would not want to miss. Cheers, Graeme.

Amira jest już wybitną artystką estradową. Flower Duet 2017 zaśpiewany jest fenomenalnie na poziomie, który może nie będzie przekroczony przez żaden inny duet. Można założyć, że poziom wykonania jest unikatem tak trudnym do powtórzenia jak dla porównania w himalaiźmie w ekstremalnych zimowych warunkach zdobycie Nanga Parbat. Spójrzmy na ten wyczyn artystyczny jeszcze inaczej mianowicie w taki, że ona wraz z partnerką zdobyła ten szczyt w znakomitej formie, który gwarantuje największe uznanie w kręgach wzruszonych miłośników muzyki poważnej i to w formie przeznakomitej takiej do którego nas przyzwyczaiła od zawsze czyli od pierwszych występów ! Hello Nephi, I loved your reaction videos of Amira's renditions of "O Sole Mio" and "Amazing Grace" so much and I was amazed both by the quality of the sound and your emotional reactions. But what happened with the sound of this video? It sounds as if there was a storm in your room! And there is a mistake in the title. You should replace "9-year old" with "13-year old"... ;-)

Not to detract from Amira because she really is phenomenal. I just want to add this link to another song by Corlea Botha (singing with Amira) because she too is prodigious. The song is in Afrikaans but it is good and its not opera so you really can appreciate the versatility of her voice.
