O yes, Amira can sing!! The good news is that Amira (19 years of age now) has finished highschool and she has announced not long ago that this cumming year she will concentrate on releasing (new) music and performing. At this very moment she is on tour for a few private and public performances in the Netherlands and Norway (I do not know anything more). So we just have to be patient. Tip: listen also to her rendition of "Caruso", which she sang as a 16 year old in september 2020 in an on-line concert in Pretoria (South Africa): only Amira and pianist Charl du Plessis. They have done more together and when they are joining musical forces you can be sure something special is cumming.
The aria La Vergine degli Angeli is from the opera La forza del destio by Giuseppe Verdi and relates a prayer to the virgin of the angels for protection. In the opera the male choir is off stage.
I loved her voice from the first time I heard it on Holland Got Talent when she was I believe 9 years old. She definitely gets better and better and don't know how that is possible since her voice was already great.

Sure you're beautiful yourself Petra! This is one of my favorites from Amira.. it's beautiful. But hey ..if you want to hear and see Amira sing informally in an empty church in her civvy clothes where she went to with her dad so he could play the organ beautifully quietly while she sang Gesu Bambino, that's the next one for you to react to. It's recorded just on a phone while she along with her brother and boyfriend were visiting her dad in the Netherlands over Christmas from South Africa. The acoustics in the empty church are great. I think you'd like it!

When I saw Petra's ascending smile when she did her Reaction to Amira singing Gabriella's song, in Swedish, her face lit up in amazement at the young Amira singing her version. It has stayed with me, when in this case, musically, how on hearing something quite unbelievable fills your ears. My real respect also goes to the DEAF community who in many cases cannot hear what we hear, as although music is universal, it is a ' language ' for the ears
What a fun reaction. Amira was 16 then. It's from a verdi opera. Virgin of the angels, ( Mary) protect me with your mantle, ( cloak) it's a prayer for help really. Someone pointed out when watching Amira, that there is a lot going on inside, though she appears very calm on the outside. There has to be a lot of breath control, and modulation of the vocal instruments. I don't think Amira has sung another Swedish song for you, but there are many beautiful ones around. Try Gesu Bambino, you might like that one, and she wasn't over dressed when she sang it!. By the way she landed in Norway tonight for a week. Not so far away.

Was kann man zu Amira noch schreiben was noch niemand gesagt oder geschrieben hat? Sie hat eine wunderschöne Stimme und trifft jeden Ton klar und rein. Sie gehört ohne Zweifel in die Spitzengruppe der weltweit besten Sopranisten. Was bei ihr aber noch hinzukommt ist ihre Bühnenpräsenz. Selbst als kleines Kind zeigt sie keine Unsicherheit oder Nervosität. Sie betritt die Bühne und die Bühne gehört ihr, sie besticht durch ihre absolute Selbstsicherheit. Dabei sieht es so aus als wen sie sich nicht mal bei den höchsten Tönen anstrengt. Sie steht einfach ganz ruhig da und die schönsten Töne strömen aus ihr heraus.

I disagree, AW has a clear voice skills, but not enough to make a good classic musical performance . She has to improve pronunciation, low voice, space between text. Wish she will be better in the next five years
