I know, right? I mean, I understand twins have an extra special relationship, but this is really strange. I wonder if they thought that the “innocent” twin wasn’t on meth and might escape jail time? I thought the driver fled the scene. So there were serious charges pending. It’s all very strange.

Because it’s not murder, for one. 😂 Two, there absolutely would be charges if meth breath was driving. If a sober person was driving and it wasn’t caused by their own negligence then there would not be charges. Hello.

Because the driver was on drugs. The twin was not and can just be charge for an accident. And let go. The druggie would have a harsh sentence.

The theory is that the "fall" twin had already been to prison, and the driver had taken care of her kids during that time. So the driver felt that her sister "owed" her for this, and since she had already been to prison a second sentence would be easier than for the driver. That's what cops think happened, at least. Also, accidents are rarely charged as murders.

I was totally confused when I saw that video and heard there were charges filed, if you don't follow commands there has to be some kind of accountability or else why even have laws if no one is going to follow said laws, why have police officers if no one will have any repercussions, the reason there are so many car thefts these days is because ppl are being sent home to do it again, no one is being held accountable for their actions 🤯🤔

Usually when they do not show the perps it is for racial reasons… but in this case it is even more weird they did not. Rural Minnesota, that stereotypical nordic surname along and meth use… going to guess it is not your typical media cover-up. Maybe they had zero identifiable social media to garner photos from and any mugshots are not yet available.

@frankgordon8829 At the very least she should be charged with trying to pervert the course of justice but I would also include making false statements to police. None of them gave a thought to the two kids who died and only cared about covering up the truth. She obviously shouldn't get as much time as the one who actually caused the crash but she should definitely be held accountable for her actions.

I was married to an identical twin for over 20 yrs. As close as he and his brother are, I can't imagine them ever doing anything like that. He wasn't great at being a married, but I have to give him credit where due, he's always had the incorruptible integrity of a saint.

Covering for small stuff like suspended license is one thing. Covering for your drugged up twin killing two kids is totally different.

If it's preventable, I'm not so sure the word "accident" applies. We all use it. I use it too, but I'd wager that it's almost always a misnomer.

Yeah, a lot of people that live in Amish areas complain that driving around the buggies is hard. However, since this driver was on meth, she was clearly at fault.

@@DefundtheIRS1776 I guess you didn't realize I basically agreed with you. Buggies shouldn't be on the main roads. Neither should meth drivers. No one should drive under the influence. Also, if the family had been in a car, those two children might have survived. It's not either/or, it's both/and.

In Kentucky you can round a curve and there they are. You can't see them until you are on top of them. They caused many a person to wreck their cars taking the ditch to keep from hitting them. But hey that's supposed to be ok? They carry no insurance of any kind. If people hire them for most usually framing a building they hire a van to transport. They can ride in any car they can knock on your door to use your phone. They are a menace on the road in those buggy's and put themselves and children's and others lives at risk. The girls should never have covered up they should have been charged with driving under the influence but what about the Amish going probably 50 miles an hour under the speed limit. If they had been in a car that would have been against the law and they would have been fined for causing an accident. If you have never lived around them you don't have a clue how many accidents they cause. If you were walking would you walk in the middle of the road and just expect people to screech to a stop or take the ditch. That's what it's like to come around a curve on them here. They are not blameless. They put themselves at risk and drivers at risk that have their own little ones in the car. They are not too poor for cars. They are just a cult. They are the most notorious puppy mill breeders in the country too. Google that one. I have no sympathy for them. They are crazy.

However, everyone is obligated to follow the two second rule when behind others. There is no reason for anyone to hit an Amish buggy unless they are selfishly unaware drivers that are unsafe! I live in Ky. and in my county, we do not have a problem with sharing the road with Amish, nor do we mow down their buggies!🙄
