In early December, Amity sent her hardest climb to date: Bone Hard (5.12a/b PG) at the Trapps in the Shawangunks, NY. She had gotten on the climb on two previous occasions in the fall - the first time, just two laps on top rope; the second time, a few laps on TR and then a redpoint attempt (in the dark!). After a couple weeks, we headed back down for Amity to put it to rest. It was in the low 40s and overcast. Right before she got on the rock, the clouds started precipitating (a mix of rain and snow) for a few minutes. Thankfully, the line is straight vertical and under a small roof, so it stayed dry. This was her first attempt of the day. My wife is RAD!
We shot the video with our GoPro Hero 4+ (with one continuous shot - it was perched up in a nearby tree). I edited down the video, as it was 35 minutes long. Amity was on the wall for ~25 minutes (as I condensed the video, I tried to note the amount of time she spent at each "shake-out" spot). She sent the line clean - no takes, no falls, all under her own power. As for gear, she placed two purple nuts (Black Diamond #5 stopper), then a blue alien, then clipped a couple pins, then a red #1 (Black Diamond cam).

I'm quite the rookie with filming and video editing, so feel free to pass along feedback/tips/constructive criticism.
We're on instagram @warmewanderings, though I'm a rookie on that front too.
