I have suffered from extremely itchy scalp and dandruff for around 6 years. I have used OTC and prescribed shampoos for it. I used Amla powder with hot water and a cap of amla oil and my scalp feels 100% better. The itchiness is gone and I have 0 flaking. When I wake up there’s usually flakes everywhere but now I have none! I do this 2x a week
Danielle M Genuinely after my first use. The thickening aspect I can attest to also but it took approximately 2 months of consistent use of 1-2x a week for me personally. I haven’t used it for some time but my scalp is still healthy
Ugh I Loooove Zizyphus and Amla powders for hair!! Makes my hair thicker. They’re great face cleansers too and can be taken internally for an energy boost!!!
I did this this morning & I mixed with oil first & then the hot water but I think it came out the same. I used it as a prepoo on damp dirty hair. Then I put a Jhheri Curl cap on & let sit for a few hrs & then wash & deep condition. I am hoping this will help me with some ccca bald & thin patches. God bless you hun. Thanks for all you do !!!
I’m happy I watched this because my PhD dissertation work was on a disease that involves 5-AR and the first line of treatment is to use 5-ARIs. It’s interesting that amla works as a 5-ARI. I wonder if it would be beneficial, if taken orally, for the disease I studied 🤔
SoDazzling oh sis you having me thinking 🤔 I’m sure that it would, but definitely a study needs to be had, I would love to chat with you offline about your dissertation
NowIAmNappy I would love to chat about it! This is seriously interesting though because if it can be treated using something natural, that would be really cool! Now I’m over here trying to figure out how to implement it in a study lol.
GREAT video! I LOVE Amla! I'm about to do a pre poo with aloe vera, fenugreek and amla! I gotta look into this oil recipe you have. SELL THE OIL!!!!! LOL! I have to use a rinse out conditioner to get all the herbs out before deep conditioning. Can you do a few videos (if you haven't already) on the best herbs to use for slip/ detangling. Also, I'd love to see some moisturizing tea mixes. It might not be under the Ayurveda umbrella, but maybe a video on sea moss for hair and some ways to use it.
lovelylauz02 thank you for those suggestions! I do have one video on detangling using herbs and okra ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PsLCVgXicc4.html. I do have one moisturizing tea rinse but can definitely do more. There’s always so much. I definitely will do one in sea moss, so many people are getting into it. Thanks sis ❤️
Hi there, could you please do a video on how you were able to grow your back from CCCA? I have been struggling for the last 10 years and really want some direction on to heal and restore the hair naturally (as opposed to getting steroid shots or Minoxidil).
My hair doesn't need protein and I keep hearing do not try it if it does not therefore what else can I try mostly all of the natural things used on the hair makes the hair very strong therefore we fight two battles making it strong or extremely dry even after deep conditioning 4c with some 4b low porosity thin strands but high density Please advise Also thanks for the advice and you have beautiful hair
Hi thanks for sharing. Will I be able to achieve good hair using only amla or fenugreek as it's what is only available this side RSA. thanks for everything also please make a video of how to make an amla or fenugreek oil for hair growth please I've searching for this herbs ever since following you and I can't wait to start. Also is deep conditioning crucial after every mask or herb treatment? Love you
Mpho Mjangqeka Amla and fenugreek or perfect to get started with! They both can stimulate hair growth. Thank you for following and supporting me sis ❤️
Mpho Mjangqeka also I choose to deep condition because I’m doing masks weekly. But I would say listen to your hair. In the beginning I would and then as you use herbs more often, you’re learn how your hair responds to herbs 🌿
Hi, I've just discovered your Chanel and I love all the natural DIY recipes you teach about. My question is, can the herbs and oils be used on dreadlocks?
I love the name of your channel.🙂 For some reason watching you mix all those ingredients together was relaxing. Also it looks so chocolatey especially after you added your oil. It looks like you made a lot of the amla mixture. Did you end up using the whole mixture or did save the rest. If yes how did you store it and for how long?
NowIAmNappy oh I see. Thanks. I noticed for the Ayurvedic hair loss oil I thought I saw the pantyhose in the jar. Do you store the solid ingredients in the hose like a tea bag? And what did u mean when u said u continue to refresh the oil? Do u make new batches and add to it weekly using the older solid ingredients or do use new solid ingredients every time and discard the old ones?
@@QueenOfTheDamned yess all good questions. So I store the solid ingredients in the hose like a tea bag. So when my jar gets low I'll continue to pour in more oil and let it sit in a water bath to help them infuse. I will stir the mixture as well to help the ingredients mix together and then leave the hose in the mix and let it further infuse.
This is definitely a strengthening treatment, not really a protein treatment you can do this every other week. If you want to do a gloss instead which just needs to add conditioner with the Alma you can do it weekly
I suggest grinding them in grinder, blender, or food processor. I crush everything down to a fine powder. I then use heated oil and hot water to dissolve when making pastes. Hope that helps
I use henna to color my gray which is mostly in the front of my head, I find that Alma affects the color. It takes it from a bright red, which I love to a dull auburn color. Do you have any thoughts about how to prevent the henna color change? It happens even after my henna has oxidized.
I trie this but there was still a lot of the powder debris in my hair after I rinsed it out and used shampoo. What did I do wrong? And what’s the best way to get the debris out of my hair?
@@NowIAmNappy i noticed that my powder, when it is still dry, it has a coarse consistency... maybe it depends on the brand or it has not been sieved well. But I'll try your hint
