Glad to see alma powder making a come back! It was huge a few years ago in the natural hair community after the henna trend. Great powder, great results over time.
I eat a tbs of amla powder and chia seeds every morning with my yogurt or oatmeal. And i rub amla powder with a little of warm water, as an exfoliant for my face at night, a few times a week. It makes your skin soft and bright and fades dark spots. Drink lots of water. I never put it in my hair because how gritty it is but ill try it with some oil and see how that works out.
@@AnneMichelae I'm not sure what powder you use but I use the organic amla fruit powder off amazon. Its says in the directions that you can add it to smoothies or whatever you want. Its not the best tasting alone but mixed with yogurt its great, I add chia seeds also. Always great to eat it and use it topically for the best benefits.
I lost all concentration as soon as I saw your beautiful hair. I swear down I didn't hear a single word you were saying, I was completely and utterly mesmerized by your hair 🖤
WOW!! Best AMLA video I've seen. You made it SO easy and of course your hair speaks for itself. Decided to it, I'll do it using exactly the way you did. Seriously, thank you! Cya at waist length hair.
@@AnneMichelae Hi, great video! What hair type (curl pattern) do you have? Im curious bc i have 4c and am interested to find out if my results would differ.
@@friendoftheinternet Hi ! I have colored hair (dark copper with lighter ends) and I regularly use Amla, I gotta say it affects the color by making it a bit darker which I like because I want my ends to be less light. If you don't want to darken your hair, I suggest you to use other ayurvedic powder like Kapoor Kachli, Kachur Sugandhi an Fenugreek powder, they're my favorites ! There are other beneficial powders too, you can look them up and check if they affect colored hair. Hope it helps :)
So much I want to say about this video 😍💗 1) LOVE your beautiful intro and the quality of your video! 2) love that this was a simple 1 step routine as opposed to 50,000- this is something I will absolutely try as a result! 3) your curls are gorgeous 😍💓
Folks would swear that's extensions. I love love your hair. The curl pattern is so pretty. I'm like you too. I need to wear gloves . I just got this product from Amazon. I can't wait to try it. Best in 2021. I'm trying for waist length
Been using this with fenugreek as a midweek prepoo with aloe vera juice, greek yogurt/coconut milk, rosemary, peppermint and diy growth oil. The results have been impressive over the month ~ marked growth and improved condition of hair and scalp! Amla loves our hair and it shows! Your results are stunning Anne Michelae!
Your hair is beautiful... Great video, very informative. I recently used Henna and Indigo to color and treat my hair and it changed my curl pattern (low porosity). I was told Amla could restore my curl pattern. It seems it just may work. P.S. Love the kids.❤
Your hair is gorgeous i only use ayuverdic powders on my hair i consume them too works like magic. My hair is soft shiny strong and darker and is growing like a weed
@@alanatrotman2750 half a teaspoon with warm water i make like tea.You can start with a teaspoon.Make sure the powder is for internal consumption. Also they have frozen amla which you can blend with your smoothies
I use amla on my face for vitamin C without adding oils. Then I remove with a hot face cloth then moisturize with. Night cream on my weekly wash day. I just use hot water
*You can use olive oil to make your hair look good and feel healthy.* It is _no secret_ that heat styling makes it hard for you to grow new hair, but the oils found in *olive oil work as a protectant against those high temperatures* by creating a shield around natural keratin which _contains antioxidants, vitamin E, and oleic acid._ Olive Oil also has _anti-inflammatory properties which may help with treating dandruff too!_
Great idea. I usually add amla to my deep conditioner but your idea as a prepoo with oil is brilliant. Might tip some Brahmi into that on occasion too. Cheers. Love your videos.
Thanks for sharing, when I use it I don’t shampoo my hair because that’s considered the cleanser. I just used a little co-wash or conditioner to rinse the remains out. Your hair looks good.
Anne Michelae thank you for all the content that you post Sis.! I was searching for content/videos explaining the benefits of Amla powder and was grateful to see your video amoungst the others! You made me laugh and smile during this video .... Beautiful hair and beautiful personality! I am just really begging to learn about the natural hair care recipes available after a negative experience resulting in scalp damage and hair loss. But God is good. Thanks again for your research and content. 100%
You have a lot of diy hair growth videos . Can you show a routine of how you incorporate them into your hair routine ? Maybe a week into your natural hair routine ? I’m not sure where to start or how to incorporate them into my routine
Thank you for sharing this information. Well done. Just a thought to share with you, since your videos are shared world wide, perhaps you can include dual measurements as not all countries use the metric system and other's still use the Imperial system of tablespoons and cups. Your content is well researched and documented. Great job. Will be sharing with my hair buddies. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. By the way are you in Canada 🇨🇦 as I recognized one of the bottles of oil used in this video. Also, caught the Jamaican intonation in your speech. 🤗🇯🇲Happy Independence 😊 🇯🇲. Take care. New fan.
Funny. I got a Norizol ad before this video. I used that crap for 6 weeks when I couldn’t get back scalp to stop flaking and itching so bad. It didn’t work. I decided to leave it alone and use nothing. and it’s so much better now. Now back to natural remedies.
My hair absolutely loves a mixture with amla, neem, brahmi and bentonite clay! New subscriber here! While your hair is magnificent your smile is what pulled me in🤩😄
Thank you for all you video notice big difference when using distilled water , hibiscus rinse & sage love it, alma , I added clove power with my alma you thank you
Your hair is soo healthy and beautiful, definalty credit to the quality of time and care you have spent on it. I'm pakistani and my grandmother, mother and sisters have been using amala oil for the longest and I would say it keeps the hair shiny and thick.
@@anushanadeem2733 tricky question, I naturally have really black hair so I wouldn't be able to tell, but the oil has a green kind colour which I think would make your hair appear darker, in terms of the amala shampoo I haven't used so I wouldn't really know. If your looking to naturally lighten your hair I have some good advice.
@@ui3686 ofc thankyou I'd like to know. Actually the natural color of my hair is light ash brown and i want to switch to natural /organic shampoos and cleansers without damaging, drying or darkening them.
@@anushanadeem2733 one good trick that I have been doing for years is oiling my hair with olive oil. First method - I oil all my hair, soaking it in olive oil and leaving this for a couple of days, going out in the sun like this will attract more light and fasten the process of lightening,. When I go to sleep I would cover this with cotton fabric, so the pillow cases aren't destroyed. When washing I only apply shampoo and loads of this to wash all the access oil. I don't condition after this because the hair is well moistured. Second method - this method is probably more realistic as some people would not want to keep there hair oily for too long. So keeping the oil on for 1 hour and than washing, would be good aswell, but the results from method one for me are more better. P. S I personally like my hair darker, so i avoid the sun, but every time I have been under the sun, my hair colour does change to a lighter and redish colour tone. It may be important to mention that my hair type is thick, long and straighish, so what might work for me might not work for everyone. However I myself have been avoiding conditioner with siliconez for years. In terms of shampoo I switch quite a bit, but I always go for less chemically products. I hope this is useful
Im the kind of person that will LIKE a video if it has helped me. I didn't watch the whole thing, in fact came for the info contained in the first minute.. but this HELPED so I had to drop that LIKE. Also Thank You for taking the time to timestamp your video. That is a game changer. This video was much appreciated. Typing all this, I've convinced myself to Subscribe xD.. You got me!♥😅
OMGoodness ! While staring off into space absorbing the knowledge u were dropping about DHT and 5-ARE, my thumb tapped the screen and SUBSCRIBED to you ! 🤣 The thumb has spoken ! Lololol !!!
First time watching any of your videos, first off, you’re beautiful and your hair is beautiful as well! Thank you for extremely informative video! Can’t wait to use alma powder with this method❤
Hey sis, I'm a new subbie, thanks for this video. I just ordered Alma powder from Amazon and I'll be using it as you've demonstrated. I was going to make the Alma oil but after you explained the benefits of it for the whole head, I'll be using the hair mask. And your hair is gorgeous girl! You and Naptural85 are definitely my top hair guru's! Thanks again.🤩😍🙏🏽
As thx so much. I’m truly humbled 🙏🏾 girl make that oil too lol you can definitely do both even if it’s a small oil batch trust me you can make that Amla stretch. This way you’ll have and oil and a the paste treatment!!!
Your hair looks amazing, definitely will try this thanks for video btw I love your eyeglasses are they a particular brand (sorry if that’s too personal) they’re so cool though🤓
@@cpilorge3939 sorry about the delayed response. Yes, I believe it does my hair was stronger, darker, it held onto moisture better and my curls were more pronounced.
@@cpilorge3939 My family and I are well. Thanks for asking. I hope you are doing the same. I've always purchased my Amla oil from any Indian grocery store or Amazon. The dabur Brand contains mainly mineral oil so I don't use that brand. Just make sure to check the ingredients. At the Indian grocery store by my home, the manager would always tell me that the best thing to do was to buy the fruit and make my own. But I also purchase and keep Amla powder to use as a hair mask.
Wow!! That is amazing i just heard about the Alma oil and now the powder too. Your hair looks so amazing. My question is after the first wash how effective is growth? How many inches of hair will grow?
New Subscriber. Your hair is Beautiful 👍. I will be definitely trying this soon. Started my hair journey since Covid19. Hoping to get your length as well🙏
I've avoided using amla powder in my hair because it's supposed to revert the looser curl pattern from my henna applications. I use the dried amla fruit in my tea hair spritz along with other herbs/plants. I also mix it with MSM in the morning as amla is a great natural source of Vitamin C.
