I know, I listened to them today, during my mile run today at school, I finished in under 14 minutes, about 5 minutes less than normal for me without these guys
only 14 minutes. bro I'm an overweight motherfucker now but I played football in high school 5 years ago and I could do a mile in 7. don't stop just run.

+Eric Sarason You do realize the swastika got deeper meaning than just being a "nazi" symbol?...but ofcurse you wouldn't know anything about that...You all just prefer to shout out nazi sign...
This is probably the greatest song of all time. I've decided to get cremated when I die just so I can have this blasting out of the crematorium speakers. Its in my will now, no one can stop me mwa ha ha ha!!!
Saw these guys when they opened for Dimmu in Stockholm 2008 or whenever that was. They absolutely owned the place and Dimmu had a really hard time going on after these guys. Say what you want about the theme but trust me these guys are incredible live!
Saw the live on 15th November. Best. Thing. Ever. Amon Amarth exceeded expectations, along with Hell, Carcass, and Bleed From Within. They even got out giant glowing runes for Runes To My Memory.
Do you listen to any other extreme metal music? Black metal can be hard to understand/Handle but, I find it to be very unique and I like that. While I am more of a thrash guy my self, FUCKIN SLAYERRRRR!!!!!!
Never cared that much about Amon Amarth before but this song and The Pursuit of Vikings really got me interested into this band now. Shame the drummer left though.
I love the intro (favorite part), also I love, how like every single member is just wind milling it! btw I would totally windmill to it to; if I had hair like that, I'm trying to grow it out though lol
They've sure gotten big since this video was made. The first time I saw them live they played on a tiny stage like that for a crowd of maybe 70 people for a 30 minute set.
I am Christian and love this song: the lyrics are great, because it said that we have to fight for the right cause with all our strainght. This is a song for anyone Pagans, Atheists, Muslims, Christians. If we are doing the right things THIS is the most important.
i used to drive through one of those streets where people screwed'emselves with dope. Late night, lights off and on a sudden I put this song to play loud as hell and turn lights on again, LOL, all i could see were those idiots with eyes wide open, running from my car like hell had break loose. Some pleasures on life come for free. Now, that bunch went for some other neighbourhood ( not because of me) but Amon Amarth keeps kicking asses
Brothers!!! May we all die in battle and ascend to Valhalla! We must go there. I see no other future for myself. Odin must see that this is my true desire. I need it to exist.
Metal subgenres are usually catalogued by tone, yes, but with two exceptions that I know of: pirate and viking metal. Each of the songs that fall under those genres also fall under (perhaps different) tonal subgenres, but are still known as pirate or viking metal. Therefore you are right, it is death metal, but it is Viking death metal. You see the subgenre split a bit more clearly with Ensiferum, I think.
