I really don't understand the hate on Deceiver of the Gods, I like it a lot, it has an atmosphere that sounds really\ beautiful and sad, it is not brutal like the old ones, but is kinda refreshing and I really dig it. As Loke Falls, We Shall Destroy and Under Siege, are just epic songs

I have developed a weird obsession for this song. Out of all the great songs Amon Amarth has made over the years and out of all the great songs they have on Jomsviking, this one suits me the most. Maybe because I left my family after I couldn't stand my abusive father, lived on a rented flat for years, then finally got my own place. I cut all ties with my family so the lyrics speak to me.

I don't care much for their earlier, more 'traditional' death metal sound. The newer, more melodic shit kicks so much ass
