Is there something wrong here? This song is titled 'War of the Gods', it's sung by the mighty brutal growling voice of Johan Hegg and the music is Amon Amarth Viking Death Metal, which normally puts me in a war frenzy, Yet somehow I feel very calm every time I listen this.
You missed the part in swedish in the middle. In my oppinion probably the strongest part of the lyrics, but thats my subjective opinion. "Odin tog huvudet och smorde det med örter, som hindrar det från att ruttna. Han kvad sedan trollformler över det, så att Mimir åter kunde tala till honom." Here is my attempt at a translation. Be aware, my english isn't perfect. ;D "Odin took the head and anointed it with herbs, that hinders it from rot. He then kvad spells over it, so that Mimir could speak to him once more." ("Kvad" is the verb of "kväde" I think, an old word for poetry. It might be that it simply means "to speak".)
