The soundtrack is clearly made by Amon Tobin, without him it would have been a lot different, and maybe not as good. And instead of Amon Tobin talking about his music, we have the directors and producers talking, taking all the credit.
These aren't directors and producers, these are just audio guys that helped produce the audio for the game. Amon Tobin may not have even wanted to be interviewed or been available.
very true. let's not forget the use of sound (everything you hear in the game apart from music and voice) sound can be very effective at supporting the story, gameplay and immersiveness, often at a subconscious level. which is why it is usually overlooked
I love Amon Tobin and I love InFamous, but I never knew that he did the music for it! It makes sense though now that I think about it. Amon Tobin kicks ass!
He did a similar thing with Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. The music would change slightly depending on whether you were detected or not, or directly in combat. 4 stages for each music track and each level had its own music.
I have met Amon Tobin live shook his hand thanked and told him thank you for your music. This was after an amazing concert he put on with a 30min Drum and Bass mix and then back to his stuff.
@VirtuaCory chaos theory was the best splitenter cell in 40 % becouse of amon tobins music. It created this special feeling that no other sc had before.
The title chosen for this video is really precise and accurate, as it shows specifically what was the contribution of Amon Tobin here: just a label on other guys work. So nothing new under the sun, so far. Great job guys, keep the title, and forget the fans and boeotians that can't learn anything from this kind of in-depth point of view.
Wow. ...Awesome! Can they put these high, medium, and low elements on a curve of skin temperature, heartrate, muscle tension, and/or landspeed? That would be awesome connected to a feedback-looped car stereo, or feedback-looped clothes. Since Amon Tobin is naturally a soundtrack to my life, especially while driving, I think that'd be the hipcool next big thing.
I almost think about buying a PS3 and this game just to hear Amon. Not that I care more about one system over another, I just haven't paid attention to consoles for a long time.
@karotomania : you'll find it on the itune store on the infamous soundtrack : "Stampton Bridge" must be the one, "The Courier" sounds similar both by Amon Tobin.
@snake56 You seem to be very good at answering everything but the question dude... Where is AMON TOBIN ??? Because, without Amon tobin, there is not music either, in case you didn't realize.
I've already got it but it's not the same as experiencing it in the game, obviously. As I understand it, the in-game music is layered and event-driven in the game, like the one done for Chaos Theory.

Can I dislike this again? The title says Amon Tobin and his name is only mentioned once in the whole thing. I'm not even sure if he did any work from this or if the creators just wanted him to work on it. Change the title.
@InfiniteFish1979 I wouldnt sau 100 percent, but generally i have to agree. I prefer older "musical" Tobin. i do not enjoy filtered drill n creep;) or what is that style hes pushing everywhere after supermodified LP which was still great. Permutations is my favourite.
