I know that this game gets a lot of flak for how dumb the AI is for allies and enemies, but seeing Terminators breach doors and lift shutters when chasing the player is actually pretty good. Although the Infiltrator Mode was obviously just a tech demo for RoboCop Rogue City since Teyon reused alot of assets and mechanics from this game, like the door breach and dialogue options, during development.

It was actually a pretty good GTA-like with original cast voice acting, that focused on side stories like this this one but took place in the same time as the first movie (like, you're the guy who put the horse head in the bed). This Amogus update is insane

I've always really liked the Terminator franchise, I'm drawn to apocalypse and post apocalypse movies like people to baking cookies. I love that shit. This game definitely has bugs, I had a few times when I had to turn it off and back on, the voice acting isn't top tier and can be comical at times, and characters models were dated before the game was even released. HOWEVER, the gameplay loop is simple and fun, the gunplay is satisfying, and they absolutely bullseyed the atmosphere. In the main game the story is a bit samey unfortunately, but it was overall good enough for me to write my first Steam review. There are two DLCs, one where you play as a terminator running around a small map trying to find intel, destroying Resistance holdouts, and assassinating HVTs. It was an okay add-on that felt like it needed to be expanded on and given a bit more time to bake. The other DLC though? You know the Future War scenes in T1 and T2? The DLC feels just like that and it is glorious. My only complaint with it is that it isn't the main game. Overall I give the game an 8/10 solely because of the DLC. It still would sit comfortably at a 7 without it though.
