La bella música del que sabe oír y escuchar lo precioso de la vida se plasma en un papel para que sólo las mejores y mas atrevidas voces nos deleiten o nos demos el gusto de rascar el corazón. 👏🏾👏🏾😘☺️
Ten bucks says that if your singing was capable of turning water into gold that it still wouldn't be good enough for the peanut gallery on RU-vid. If any of you were in this choir and you saw all the nitpicking comments on this video, would you care enough to do anything about it? No, because they're comments on a RU-vid video where everyone acts like an expert. The recording is what it is, it cannot be changed. It's good music, just enjoy it for what it is.
Can I "like" this more than once????? It's really amazing. We did this piece in my college chamber choir last year, but it was too small of a group, and not nearly as good as this. Bravo.
i heard my high school chamber choir sing this and they were AMAZING. they sang it to us when i was in the weights room and the way it sounded off the walls made me cry. which was pretty embarrassing, but they were amazing. :)
@matchboxmatt THANK YOU! I'm so over people who think that they know enough to comment on anything... and they probably have the musicality of a cardboard box. You have said this so well! You're my hero too!
Well, I think he was going off the basis that the poem used in writing the piece was by Garcilaso de la Vega whom was a Spanish poet. The Spanish accent would cause it to be "thii" but you're right stating it is the directors preference.
The c's are not pronounced like c's they have a light "th" sound like in between a "th" and a "d", the same way for d's. At least that's how we are learning it at the moment.
Too fast for my (and Dr. Stroope's) tastes, based on the tempo marking, but nice sound. I prefer a little more quiet emotional discretion, but the louder parts were nice.
