I don't know what you define by strange, or where you find people acting weird, remember that there is still a large portion of people that does not use the internet and not every strange thing you read can be extrapolated to the whole of society. I think that everyone has something that someone else finds strange when they don't know a whole lot about it, and with the internet you can more easily find out these supposedly "strange" things that some people do.

Most teenage boys (including me) can't get girlfriends because their standards are so high, 99% of them want a 25-30 year old, tall, muscular, rich guy so he can basically act as their dad while they sit around and do nothing.
