Ampeg BA-110 - Feature Walkthrough

I just bought a BA 110 and I love it!

To any keyboard players looking for something decent & portable, I use this with my Korg SV2 and with the amp volume on 6, I use the volume on the keyboard to adjust if I need. It works very well, no issues with low end tones or any for that matter. Well worth it for the price

I traded in my Fender Rumble100 v3 and got $180.00 for it at GC. I went strait to the bass amps and grabbed me an Ampeg BA-110. I already had it all premeditated and planned. Anyway the BA-110 kicks the Fenders ass all day. I'm not gunna talk crap about fender cause I love Fender,thats the only kind of bass I play and mainly guitar too. This Amp has better tone and is louder then the Fender. I LOVE IT

I'm using this as a keyboard amp and seems to work really well. I bought it to make use of the sub feature on my acoustic amp and beef up the coverage. I have not used it for its specific intended purpose, but it's worked out great.

Looks perfect for a basement setting

While bass is not my primary instrument, I bought the BA-110 because of its sound, and unlike comparably priced Fender bass amps, the BA-110 cabinet doesn’t rattle.

Iowned the BA-115. It is fantastic. I tried to use it in place of my 8x10 cab and SVT head. As anyone that uses the big gear knows, it is a monster to haul around. While the sound was great, it would not hold up to a Fender twin in the same room. Just not big enough to push through all that high end. Cranked all the way up you could feel it but not hear it. Never bothered trying it with the hard rock band I also played in. No way it was holding up to one ore two half stacks. It may work ok on stage with it pointed right up at you and running through the PA with the direct out. But there would be no stage sound going out with the half stacks. My opinion, great practice amp, not big boy ready.

I now own 2, stereo split them with a '74 Ricenbacker 4001. Love them.

Where is the microphone?

Just bought a brand-new one, and somehow I can't turn the volume up loud enough. The amp and bass volume are at their max, and I can hardly hear anything worthwhile. anyone knows how I can fix it?

hi...im new to bass...drums 20 years+, guitar on and off 10 years or so...i got a stingray 5 which should be here next week. maybe not the smartest choice for a beginner but if you have the means why go for an inferior product...that's my thinking anyway. so I was wondering is there a specific amp combo that sounds particularly good with a stingray? I remember years ago reading some guitarist said a les paul and marshall is sort of cheating cause you know it'll sound good....is there something similar with basses? thanks for your help

I own the original USA made BA110. If I had to play this version as seen in this video, I would quit playing bass and take up the glockenspiel. Sounds awful.
