Thanks for your review. It's great to hear how good these are. I heard the Amphion Argon 3 today, and was so very impressed. I've been googling more information about them since. I will definitely be buying them.
Good promotion. I heard a pair of Argon 3s here in Sweden and Iindeed they "knocked my socks off". I am buying one in Finland as they can be carried by plane. I am thinking of pairing it with the new Map-S1 hi-res audio receiver integreted amp of 50watts per channel (some advice here). hope they drive them well. These speakers are great gents/ladies. Swedes reluctantly praise things from their neighbors but this Swedish dealer was all praise for the Finnish product. Too expensive in sweden though.
@@mikomiko9733 Very rare to find a speaker with a low crossover point to the tweeter. It is we who would need a low crossover to accurately hear the benefits of the Amphion strong point. My speakers have no crossover, so its a moot point in my case. Also, very rare to find that as well.
I chose Argon 3 after auditioning. Best speakers I've ever heard, although I haven't listened to very expensive ones. They beat the hell out of Elac FS 247 BE (a similarly priced floorstander)! I would say Argon 3's virtues are high transparency, neutrality and resolution, and pinpoint imaging, which manifests in a deep and sharp soundstage.
We are not a pro audio store; we are a hifi store. We are involved in the playback side of the industry, not the recording side. If your sound from RU-vid disappoints you, we definitely have equipment that can make it sound better, but a poor recording is what it is. Sure, we could have spent more money six years ago on the production of this educational video, but we would rather save our customers' money by charging less.
