Ive been using “African Pride brand ” the black castor miracle extra hold. Its a brown little tube. My bae has type has 4/B 4/C hair and it works really good n dosent flake. If he wud keep it wrapped itll last longer then 2 weeks but he stubborn but it works good n gives it a nice shine.

That magic fingers is hit or miss. I found it to be inconsistent from one having some hold to the next feeling like water. I’m not a fan of that one either.
Yes! The orange jar of shine n jam has become the same for me lately. I'm still using the all day locs from the other video since I 1st used it. Not as conditioning, but for me its a strong hold w/ no white residue.
@@tillysharanI agree with you. The only thing about the all day one is I’m not crazy about the smell. It’s a strong smelling tee tree or something. I can handle it but its not my favorite. Yes it’s harder to comb through but I appreciate the thickness of it.
@@tillysharan I use it on my son’s braids. I just bought a cheap one that smells really good today I will let you know if it’s better or not. I’m nervous cuz it’s a bit thinner.
