AMSOIL EaO/Ea15k Oil Filters 

If you live in the Midwest area I've found just the oil at Rural King and Blain's Farm & Fleet stores carry it. Rural King only carries the 5W30 Signature Series, but Farm & Fleet will carry Signature Series 10W30, 0W20, & 5W30. Rural King is about $0.50 cheaper a quart though. Also, online they give you the option of picking it up directly at the warehouse closest to you, if you go that route really stock up for a few oil changes to save a drive, but it may not cost you $20 in gas depending on the distance and or car you drive. +Jacques Montague I just simply don't buy it now more. these days nobody pays shipping anymore when you can just pay $100 a year for Amazon prime and almost everything anything from them shipped to you in 2 days for free and now in new York city some things even have 1 day free shipping. personally I think amsoil is not gonna survive unless they work with the other companies or change the way how they're selling stuff.

I guess I'm just old, AMSOIL is the only thing I buy online. The rest of the stuff I buy in town since I've never heard of Amazon prime I don't know about it, and personally $100 year is outrageous if you order very little or none like myself. The savings compared to buying amsoil from a dealer or the small stores here in town covers about $14.00 in savings per oil change and with 4 cars it covers my membership and a few shipping fees. I personally don't think it's too bad, it's better to pay $7.85/quart than $11.10

@@wayned3137 I started buying amsoil about a month ago and I will keep buying, I have the membership and the oil my Nissan Armada takes will bring the cost to where it has free shipping from Amsoil online. When I don’t feel like ordering online, a ranch and feed store about 5-10 minutes away from my town carries amsoil at a slightly cheaper price than what amsoil charges for regular pricing. Ever since I’ve used amsoil and constant driving, I’ve never had to add oil to my engine since it has better sealing and resists evaporation better than Mobil and pennzoil (from my experience). Amsoil’s higher upfront cost is pretty much subsidized by the lack of need to add oil like how I had to add a quart every 2.5-3k miles with Mobil/Pennzoil platinum regardless if highway or city driving. Almost at 160k miles on the engine and it’s running better and has better MPG with amsoil tbh

Not here in south Texas, pennzoil ultra platinum is a unicorn in these parts, amsoil is more common here as some ranch and feed stores carry amsoil

@@thelubepage For one to believe that 2 Toyota vehicle's of the same model have computer's that can't properly control emissions leading to one vehicle to have sludge and another to not is so far fetched. Emissions are so tightly controlled I could buy the excuse the filters are tiny and can't go to 25000 miles but the Toyota excuse made me lose all respect and i don't think any knowledgeable person would ever believe that excuse.

Mike, when the video was made the rating was 15 microns at 97%. Since that time it is now 20 microns at 97%. Amsoil contracts filter manufacturing and this is the current product performance. 20 microns at 97% will make these filters in the top 1% of filters on the market. Many filters are rated at nominal which means 50% efficiency and still only achieve 30 microns.

I would love for them to make 15 micron absolutes, that would make it easier to justify the cost. No one has one that low in a full flow filter. Depending on the customer and the application, sometimes the AMSOIL filter is the best choice. They are definitely among, if not the most efficient that can be obtained. For my customers that run XL or for whose application AMSOIL does not have a 25k mile rated filter, I find the Mann-Hummels are often the best bet. Many of them are rated at 25 microns absolute (their customer service CAN tell you the ratings on any filter number they make) and a 10,000 mile life with a $5-8 retail make them a cost effective item for a 6 month filter service life.
