Ok not been yet in winter but part of our family live there and they love the city and way of life so I ant see why not to be honest ….. I am not sure if that site is open 12 months as that would be key for us Thanks for watching
Yes we saw it slightly different to guys as with family there we saw the little markets and local shops so it was interesting - we’re going back again most trips through Northern Europe but willingly as love the lifestyle
We managed it once when we actually stayed in the city overnight and went first thing. We virtually had the house to ourselves. Its a very emotional experience.Mind you, the queue when we came out!😮🐕🚙
Ah, the nudist Park, now I remember where I've seen you before 😂😂 Another great blog, we are looking forward to Amsterdam, I've made a note of the site. Ps.. Try some fly spray in the mirrors.😊
Thanks guys it was a special time and the site is perfect and important for us going forward - slightly surprised Thayer was not more in easy reach but we only needed one ☝️ Thanks for watching
Hey Guys, Love your channel and you two are so cute! Loved seeing Amsterdam…haven’t been there since 2008, but would love to go back. You Europeans get things right! Milo is too adorable! Beware of more🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️😆
Really appreciate that comment as were genuine and don’t put on anything as that important to us Milo is cute and we’re going back as often as we can stopping in Amsterdam so that site is important to us Thanks for watching
It's expensive but not so much so for being able to get into Amsterdam so conveniently. We've been to Amsterdam twice in the past but not for a good few years. Ha ha ha 😂 no way! Bet that was embarrassing.😂 We loved getting around on the boats, it's like using a taxi on the water. Karl nearly got splattered by a tram looking the wrong way lol. Little Milo, what a cutie💙 Great to see Amsterdam again. We always found it to be a really friendly place.
Thanks for watching You need three pairs of eyes with trams bikes and cars for sure lol Felt like a great place to be honest - we will go back many times so we won’t do as much tourist stuff next time Thanks for watching
We love Amsterdam. Been three times now (not in the van). On one occasion we found ourselves strolling through the red light district and Bernie was propositioned by a rather large lady in a fluorescent string vest and not much else...all at 11 in the morning too!!😮🐕🚙
Congratulations on the family addition, Milo looked adorable. It's been several years since we visited Amsterdam and your tour makes us eager to return in the van rather than by ship and train as we have done two or three times before.
Well there was not many sites but the one we chose we felt was brilliant and right by the train so very accessible - I think it will get very busy in high season so book ahead if your travelling then for sure Thanks for watching and glad you’ve joyed - we loved seeing our grandson and seeing their lives
One more interesting video, thanks for telling us all the history that goes with each section....Lovely that you should be able to share family time with the new members......😘
Lovely video. Am so jealous as I have never been and it’s a beautiful city. I remember reading The Diary of Anne Frank while a teenager myself and how emotional I was. On a brighter note, that campsite and the location were stunning. Final comment - leave the spider alone 😂😂😂
Thank you for that It’s amazing how they got a tour to work in such a confined city house with so many visitors and was very touching and sad The campsite was good but surprised there was not a lot of choices but the public transport is brilliant
Yes definitely recommend site as really no other way to stay for multiple days but the location with the train was easy and would go again and will be with family there Thanks for watching
Glad you enjoyed and that site is the only one we found with a reasonable write up but perfectly placed - expect it to be busy in season mind you Thanks for watching hope all is ok

That looks a lovely campsite, I know its a bit expensive, but as you said it was secure for "Harry" and very handy for public transport into the city. Just have to be careful Stu where you go for a walk 🫣 🤣🤣 Looking forward to the next episode. Cheers 👍🐸
Hi Jane and Stew, that was a great looking camp site, did Stew miss another fishing opportunity in the lake? Or would you need to run the gauntlet of the nudies. Amsterdam looks great, I wonder how many bikes are in the canals. If you want to get rid of the spider in your mirror you need to get a new one 😂😂😂😂.
Yep you don’t know what you might catch lol - ouch ! Trust me it was a shock lol There was a whole family in there and were now in Ireland and noticed a bloody cobweb yesterday lol Thanks for watching
Highly recommend it it’s got a good vibe and encourage you to go outside the main tourist areas as some nice little back canals and see how the locals live Thanks for watching
Looks a very convenient site. Sometimes you just have to pay. Didn’t fancy getting your kit off then Stew 😂 Awww Milo is so cute 🥰. Food looked excellent. The canal boat was a great way to see the city. Thanks guys. 👏🚐🧙♂️👍
Yes if you ever get over only one site we found and we will be using it again when we visit the family regularly … I didn’t want to brag at the naturist site lol Thanks for watching
Lol now it’s weird what ppl notice and the windows wasn’t something I expected lol The bloody spider had mates round I think No hamster just a mouse with clogs on lol thanks for watching
Oh Stew 🍆 worsten anyone? lol Keith used ro spend a ot of weekends in Amsterdam visiting his girlfriend who was from there. He said how beautiful and friendly it was over there.
There is an easy busconnection to the Central Station from the campsite. You have the best of both worlds... peace and quiet at night, husstle and busstop during the day in the centre of the city.
@designedtogoslow sounds great thanks for that will give it a go on one of the trips maybe although our family live on the south side but travel is so easy in the city
From that campsite it also extremely easy to get on the ringway (A10) around the city and exit again south of Amsterdam. Or do that by bus or tram... In and around Amsterdam everything is easy...
