@@BeyondYourDoorstep As another Dutchy, I think that Amsterdam is still very nice for tourists, although very busy in the city center. Depending on how much time you have in the Netherlands and what your interests are, other places that might be interesting and are typical Dutch are Alkmaar (cheese market) Rotterdam, Maastricht, and the flower fields on the west coast in spring/summer. Of course there are many more places, interesting museums and activities.

@@BeyondYourDoorstep well there are a few things in amsterdam i could recomend,like the rijksmuseum and the scheepvaartmuseum(martimemuseum), also a lotbof tourists onlybgo to the albert kuyp market but you should visit the dappermarket or the flea market at the waterloo scare. If you like historical cities visit the hague (our government is there), delft, leiden, utrecht, 's-hertogenbosch (my home town) also we have castles like the muider slot or slot loevestein (and a lot more).also if you want to see something like kinig it did on kinderdijk with the windmill you might consider the alternative (and a litle less touristy) the zuiderzee museum. If you are here in the summer combine the hague for history and shopping with the beach city scheveningen (can all be done with takingb1 tram or bus). Whatever you want to come and see ofcourse the tourist atractions are worth it but if you want to experience more of the realness the go farther out and you will be surprices. But it hink that aplies to every country. The good thing about the netherlands (no not holland, holland is only 1 part of the netherlands😁) is that it is small , in a few days you can see a lot!!!. Oh yess and also a city down south of the netherlands Maastricht is also worthwhile, lots of history, shopping sightseeing on the river. And very close to belgium also (i took a bikeride from maastricht to the belgium city of liege summer of 2018,, only took me 1 and a half hours😁). Have lots and lots of fun and if you are a nature lover go visit our national park the hoge veluwe, it also has a very acclaimed museum the krohler moller). And i can go on and on and on.
