Come with us to Amsterdam, and it's surrounding cities, as we find the best Sips & Bites! We eat fresh Stroopwafels, piping hot Bitterballen, and drink the best Dutch beers. Also, we take a Canal Tour and stuff our faces with Beemster Cheese!
We also travel 20 minutes outside of the city to Zaanse Schans, Broek in Waterland, Monnickendam, and Edam, to see the more rural side of North Holland.

Your Oma still out and about in her car, wow. You had some luck with the weather. Respect for your biking trip. In the wind. In a short skirt! There's this Dutch saying for when someone is in trouble or has a rough time: Hij is in de Aap gelogeerd (he stayed at The Monkey) This old bar was back in the days known for fleas and disseases... Dunno if you ever thought about living here? Imagine having stroopwafels and kroketburgers every single day? Love.

I got hit by a bike on the first day , I was very apologetic and she was cool , she said it was a right of passage for tourists from Australia. Coz of the other side of the road thing.
