Good question. I printed a complete engine in 1/24 and another 1/25 . The headers aren't too massive on this engine. Had trouble with the !/24 scale to fit right. The 1/25 fit just right. It is very tight in that engine bay though. I wont be using the radiator shroud in this kit, printed an electric fan. As i keep working on this, I'll explain more of the problems I run into. Joined! I'm also building the same model,I wanted to make it dark gray and the parts that would go chrome in black color. One question how are the Testor Aztek colors,I was tempted to buy them.
@@dinoraoulquerci7274 I only have a couple of the Aztec colors. I haven’t shot them yet. I’ve had these bottles for several years and I’m hoping they’re still good. On the trim subject, I’ve seen some very cool examples of black trim . I have a video coming soon on the updates and comments on this kit.
Thank you for your reply! I will try to buy them to test them, as I liked the colour range. The model is fun to assemble, there's a bit of cleaning up to do, but that's part of the fun and it lends itself well to building missing details. If I can give you some advice, the only problem I found is that the rear wheels don't fit properly in the wheel arches, and I solved that by shortening the rear axle. I like your choice of colour, very elegant!
@@dinoraoulquerci7274 thank for the advice on the rear wheels, I’ve heard this too. The late Don Yost has a video explaining the problem with this kit. Thanks for watching. 🙏
