Amtrak’s only through Ashland, VA 

I really like the town of Ashland VA. Great spot for railfanning. You can have lunch, dinner or even a glass of your favorite drink all while sitting outside and watching the trains go by. Plus, there is a nice train store there. SIDE NOTE. When you see the drone footage, I shot the part where the drone is going up like an hour before the train. It just looks like the train was coming right as the drone was going up between the tracks. Safety 1st.
