Nice video of the trains and my home town. Hope you enjoyed your visit. As a side note, CSX recently did a major tie replacement from Richmond northward. This also included several grade crossing upgrades including three in Ashland.

Neat place to visit!! Off I95 a bit below Fredericksburg and above Richmond! The Kings Dominion Theme Park has been there since the very early 1970s! I'm from Fairfax County but now living in Southern Stafford County. For some reason, all the mailing adresses her say "Fredericksburg" although Fredericksburg itself is south of the River! Before I croak, I need to take a trip on the "Auto Train"!!! Does it accommodate Full Size Pickup Trucks?

Wow! Only two locos and they're pulling 42* cars (i count double decker psgr KAaah as two KAaas but i don't do datto w the Auto parts cars. Mayb i should too bc. they're a bit higher than the psgr KAaas. Thx for ur Xcllnt video, thumb's up n subscribed. Shore (Fur sure, So. Jersey Talk) like to visit Ashland, VA mayb nxt yr Spring ... or better yet, take an Amtrk ride from WashingTown Dead Center. ____________ *Mayb 1/4 of the Khaas were MT? Wonder if those AutoKhaaas hav had passengers' autoKhaaas, nut(not) just the Autocar parts

I watch Ashland a lot on virtual railfan live cameras. Interesting for someone from my home area to visit there. did you see any cars drive onto the tracks? it usually happens after dark though.

Fortunately, no one drove onto the tracks, but I've heard about it happening.
