I travel long distance by Amtrak trains, it beats driving, flying in a sardine can and the airlines want to cram more seats and make flying a torture test and the intercity buses, forget it. I will be riding Amtrak more often in the future.When I go home to the Civilized San Diego area I will be riding the Pacific Surfliners between San Diego, Los Angeles & Oxnard and Metrolink commuter trains in Los Angeles and the San Diego trolley more often.
