Anaheim was very smart to build the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center. Serves Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliners which I travel on to & from Los Angeles & Oxnard when I’m home in the San Diego area, Metrolink commuter trains, local transit buses, Greyhound buses, taxis & various shuttles. You can go to a Ducks hockey game, the Honda Center is a short walk and during baseball season, walk to Angels Statium to see an Angels baseball game. You don’t need to be stuck in freeway traffic on the CA 57,I-5 & the 91 parking lots.
It's in a wonderful location but I feel that the train system in Southern California is not really utilized. The trains, in general, are pretty depressing but they are slow and not on the schedule. Cars are also the main way to go and there's a stigma that trains are only for poor people or cheap students. Hopefully, this will change. The station is beautiful but for a train that literally only has 2 tracks and is outside is it really necessary to be that big??
I bet this is where Millenniumforce should go railfan for trains in Anaheim, not just on the Harbor Boulevard-Santa Ana Street intersection, but at ARTIC as well.
