I have read most of the manga and Light Up the Sky is actually a pretty good song for the story overall.

I guess it wasn't very popular in japan. Good thing the manga is still going at least.

i want a season two so bad ;'( i love this show so much

They cut the show at the point in manga where it started to get very dark and stray from what the early manga and anime portrayed. They also stopped because the show didn't make enough money in Japan. Personally, I like the darker part and it stopped being so stupid and silly since it showed that Ikki and his friends had matured. I await the invention of A-TS. So my phrase for all of you Air Gear fans like me. What are you still doing down here? The sky is up there!

I like how Crow actually started out sucking at gear but is so determined to get better

ya seriously they ended the series when the manga got to the most badass parts, when ikki started actually kicking ass!!!

I like it how only at first there where only the 8 Kings, but then there were other kings, only 8 being able to compete for the Sky Regalia, and now Regalias start poping out of evil ships and old clocktowers. Sky Regalias, who wants Sky Regalias? Three at 10$, a real bargain!

actually hes right. Ikki made his own road later in the series and became the "storm king" but there are WAY more than just 8 roads.

@ryan1811 Actually the anime is just a shortened version of the manga and the only thing that they really changed was how Ikki got his ATs. I don't get what you're talking about, but Air Gear in the manga is and will always be about ATs, it just gotten more mystical than it already is, but the manga is still continuing which automatically makes it better than the anime.

the manga is ongoing! and yes u are kinda right about that but also they needed to let the manga get more ahead of the anime. otherwise we would be up to our eyeballs with fillers... like bleach....

@iGhost210 there will be no 2nd season,thats how it is until now. But they started to produce OVAs,the 2nd one came out in March.

I see this video advertised on a bunch of diffrent amvs and I deided to watch it. This show looks good I might check it out some time and I like this song so it wasn't a total waist of time.

read the manga, its still going and its got like 200+ chapters, i think the behemoth fight is like chapter 80 ish.

they need to make season 2 now!!!! i'm not even kidding to end the show with ikki jumping over all his friends i know it signifies that if u put ur mind to it even u can fly but i really wanna know if ikki becomes the sky king and what happens in the war with genisis

@ArkGrave They already have things to do that, they are called cars. If Air Treks where ever banned, the same argument could be brought up there and cars would get banned

@MaleficDan Between 20.000-100.000, as they can run as fast as cars, can practically go over buildings, fly, and well....be used as weapons, they'd pretty much completely replace your everyday transport :p thats excluding the production costs of such a super powerful engine in a small item like roller skates :p
