@@TobyBauters don't be sad the journey is over, be happy you got to see it through. RIP, I remember we were all on tabs when the news was released that he passed. I sound corny but that man single-handedly got me through middle school and the High schoo. Gave me the motivation to be sober from pills, Ill still preach his views today. H e was a great man. And will be revered as one of the illest and persuasive hip hop legends. "Better rhymes make for better songs, it matters not If you got a lot of what it takes just to get along Surrender now or suffer serious setbacks Got get-back, connects wet-back, get stacks Even if you gots to get jet-black, head to toe To get the dough, battle for bottles of Mo' or 'dro This fly flow take practice like Tae Bo with Billy Blanks "Oh, you're too kind!" "Really? Thanks!" To the gone and lost forever like "Oh My Darling Clementine" He hold his heart when he telling rhyme When it's his time, I hope his soul go to Heaven He nasty like the old time Old No. 7 You still taste it when you chase it with the Coca-Cola Make 'em wish they could erase it out the Motorola I told her, "No credit for a bag If you want what they got, then go get it, it's all gack" Only in America could you find a way to earn a healthy buck And still keep your attitude on self-destruct"
It’s eerie how just a few days ago, as usual i would think about DOOM living long, maybe being a villain in a show one day. I would have loved to make an anime where he was the villain. that was short lived. I found out about the news and i thought it was a joke, so i awaited a punchline. When the punchline never came, i sat in silence. Looks like it’s gonna be a shit day today. 31/10 - -halloween- *DOOMSDAY.*
Cowboy Bebop is legit really good though, and I hate most anime (also the dub is really good so you don’t have to worry about subtitles or laughable delivery)
I know right? I was so surprised when I found that one of my favorite jazz songs happens to show up on the same song that helped introduce me to him, and an entirely different world of music.
Now the Bebop soundtrack is as close to perfect as you could ask for. But I would not be mad if they released a special version of the show with DOOM music instead. Definitely more worthwhile than the live action.
His own biggest fan And got a fan base as big as Japan Uh, yeah? And? All hail the king, and give him three cheers, fam! (...fam?) Like "Hip, hip, hooray!" Do his thing for the little kings like Sling Blade To the grave, put in work like a slave On how to flip scripts on the dipstick brigade Rock 'em like "Sus-sussudio" played Back when we used to rock the shag, no fade This skilled trade like a tailor made suede Hit the studio - and I'm paid Half upfront, half upon mastering "Would you like that in cash?" Last thing you should ask the king You don't have to be no crystal ball reader Allergic to saltpeter, used to be a wall beater In the game like a Wall Street cheater A lot of rap noise is annoying like Cita Turn into a triple-X monster from a fairy tale movie He don't know me very well, do he? King Geedorah, crush on the seed's teacher They need to pay 'em better, she had nothing on the reefer Heffer, and I had to offer her a stick of gum She was as thick as they come and taught a strict curriculum (Dumb bitch) Which is only good for my son When I'm in the hood, razors on tongue Nowadays it's amazing raising young Rule number one: Keep your fazers on stun
It's actually not the original sample, I suppose you could figure it out quite easily... this is the version that was rendered by Bill Evans on the album Explorations
I watch this and the Christ is Conscious JoeyBadass amv for Cowboy Bebop constantly whenever I want to pay some respect, this MF DOOM one is an important sentiment that projects this scene in a very stellar way which is why it’s important to me. Honestly, It would have been cool if Madlib who I’m proud grew up in the 805 just like me actually composed a make of raid for this episode but unfortunately that’s not the case, wouldn’t have been plausible, but at least the BoonDocks paid a tribute in fact they did to many artist I guess. Always will I appreciate this video for fabricating the thought though , and I’ll continue watching Cowboy Bebop forever, MF and Madlib appropriate as they may have been for anime, just wasn’t there style, But HipHop and LoFi are corresponding now more than ever thanks to attempts like this so there’s some good. Ultimately in revelation to my reflection furthermore contemplation on the art that is HipHop, So long as among coda we have respect for classics it will remain empowering how HipHop connects us despite the cultural differences, and will continue to serve as a melting pot or a sanctuary per se for our bona fide salvation. Appreciate the entirety of the morality that confines the divine art, sincerely. Amen
