AMX CDC NOT JUST AN ALSO RAN WORLD OF TANKS BLITZ
The book on this tank has for the longest time been, that its just a drac facing a tier 8 mm Q. In fact, thats exactly how I approached this review, because to be fair, I'd not really even given the tank a second thought since it first came on the scene many moons and a few buffs ago.
So what changed my mind?
You humans who keep sending me replays of this thing flying around the map flogging slower tanks with great pen and a gun thats massively under sold both in terms of accuracy and firepower.
Hope you guys enjoy this mea culpa for a tank that doesn't deserve the cavalier disregard for its ability that it seems so readily to receive.

Bushka, your review is honest. But you also need to say that this tank is nowhere near noob friendly. Otherwise people are gonna buy it and run around getting themselves shot with HE and then complain that this tank needs another buff.

Pull your head in guys. You/we are or were all rookies at one time or another. After all it is a game. I would rather a team of 6 CDC's all rookies driving around yooloing around then 6 camping at back of map doing nothing. And lol when the 2 kv2's a Su 152 and 2light tanks. Can't remember what the other one was. Think it was a panther or vk. Carrying on like pork chops when they get deleted because they missed 90% of there shots because they sat there and got rushed by 7 reds. And 4 of them had a win rate of 55% & higher.

Cdc is good for good players. It is not good for average or learners. I would be awful in the cdc.

Only 1 way to learn. Go out in it and have fun. It's a game after all. I believe the biggest problem is everyone seems to focus on is there win rate far to much. The the great bushka once mentioned about win rates. And if I'm in ball park. It was something along the lines of. You would need to loose something like 30-50 games in a row to drop 5%. I could be wrong? Cheers all.

Great video ! I had lots of fun in both drac and cdc; the better gun makes a big difference in the peekaboom style, the cdc shoots so fast that is hard for enemies to get you. But I think that another advantage is that at tier 8 the game is slower. Drac is harder to drive as a top tier, b/c at level 6 there are many tanks that are fairly fast, and many players that don't know what to do. Finally, the archenemy of cdc is the t49, only that the mm is taking care of this. After I got cdc in the last event it was full of them and I was driving my t49 to chase them - surprise - very very hard to find a cdc in my game. Some say is not the tank is the player. I say that the mm rules all.

Ya. When it came out. It was just a drac at tier 8, gun was only a little bit better and the mobility was worse. Now with the gun and mobility buffs it’s finally a good tank.

Just bought this. Won’t be using it just yet, since I’m decidedly average, and haven’t come close to Tier VIII yet, but I thought I’d make an investment, since I’m a big fan of French tanks and I’ve frequently read “i wish I’d bought this tank” on your various reviews. Vive la France! 🇫🇷

the CDC is a good tank and a lot of fun but the speed can get you into trouble so you have to keep reigning it back to avoid yolo'ing in it.

I prefer wot blitz over pc but i like mouse and keyboard better so i use my pc and no i hardly ever use auto aim snd without the auto aim theres no real advantage for pc players its just whatever suits you

I love this tank, I got this tank last even and Im rocking it. Some players hate it probably because it's not a noob friendly tank. It need some thinking to play this tank. And just recently this tank is being hated in Asia server not for being horrible but for being a good tank. It is op when you know how to use it but its also horrible if you're inexperienced player. It is similar to drac but it is in no way a inferior version of it in fact it is a better tank on its own category.

I hate how the tracks are so big! Every time I go to HE one of these in my T49 I get the track, unless it’s at point blank shooting the front or rear

It’s a tank for the situationally aware, map savvy and quick of thumbs player. (i.e. not me) For any other level of driver it’s a total death trap. In fact it’s probably the most unforgiving tank I’ve driven at Tier VIII. One or two well driven members of the 122mm IS horde on red will end your game before you even realize you made a bad choice.

i prefer the ru, even much better reload, free, faster, moves quicker, gets penned by HE as well, has not many hp or penetration, but heat pen is like 250 and it has hesh rounds! or at least 102 mm penetration *without anything*

Help people although this is unrelated to the video I need help with the tier 8 vk. Right now it is stock with no modules researched and with a 77% crew. I even cried because how slow this tank's traverse is. All I'm asking is: 1.wht provisions I need to run. 2.what modules to research first 3.what consumables to run

Comparing the drac to the CDC is like comparing the apples to onions... They're two very different things. I don't think that a video should compare two tanks that are so different in playstyle. However, I believe bushka is correcting himself from his CDC review from a year ago. Btw oof I sent in two good replays 2 weeks ago and I didn't make the cut lol.

Beware "LeKpz M41 90mm" tanks they can frontally pen the CDC with HE and score 310 damage every shot consistently. As à LeKpz driver some of my favorite targets are AMX CDCs.

@@heroninja1125 but who waste time using a cammo net on the CDC. The tanks gigantic which means with no net its cammo isn't any thing special add mobility being the CDC's greatest strength and you've got a tank that waste potential using cammo net over coated optics. PLUS all the lights have full cammo even while moving full speed meaning they dont need a net to be sneaky so they'll be using optics and will see you first 90% of the time anyways.

The gun is fine, but, for me, it should be centurion I level. And, good pen, and such, but, in terms of effectiveness, why would you drive this instead of an RU251? I mean, credits granted, ok, but, in a tournament, for instance... I'm totally going for RU, since, considering your armor, your goal is to shoot from the sides - and, in that scenario, 175mm pen will do. And RU still gets HESH as well.

It was crap when It first came out and you originally reviewed it. Its been buffed, it’s balanced, it’s not OP, they’re are many bad players in this tank. For its armour profile and competition in tier 8 it’s balanced, this tank also sees tier 9. It has to be played well like any tank with minimum armour. Drac and CDC are not OP, good players enjoy driving them, simple. Also re many people running them, hello, it was a recent event tank and also in the store, that’s why it became popular again, kids buy new tanks and wait look at the K91s running around at the mo and the new tier x 121b, you wait the noobs in tier x will explode over the coming weeks in 121bs Mark my words.

Good vid. Yeah main difference is the drac is the right size for a medium tank. The amx cdc is like a cargo ship on land with mobility. How in the world can anybody call the size of this tank balanced. When compared to other tier 8 mediums. Let alone with its armour. Tier 6 light tanks have better armour then this. This tank and the fcm 50t would make a better tank if wargaming resized the tanks to suit a medium seized tank. Wow. But yet the size of these tanks are balanced according to wargaming!

This tank annoys me. It's got crazy gun depression angles. Coupple that with its reasonable gun handling, and you've essentially got the old style RU 251.

So stupid because in my AMX CDC I did 4.1k damage and still didn't get a mastery, well maybe because I died at the end but I should still get a mastery for the damage and the win.

I’m not a big fan. While Bushka has many good points, the cdc has a low alpha, 225 alpha, which is like super low. The armor is bad, it’s bigger than a bus, and the camo is like a panther 2’s camo, which means you’re spotted 230 meters away behind a bush. If the alpha was bigger, it could peekaboos effectively, expose itself less, and do more damage. Sadly you’re exposing a lot and for a really long time in the cdc, and that’s why I don’t like it
